The hotel has amazing location in a secluded area and super friendly and exceptionally nice employees from one staff member to the next. Moreover, it is near to the vineyards and surroundings, nature, vineyards and woods and most Portugese restaurants.

The hotel in Amarante is nicely decorated and has especially helpful staff. It is in a quiet and excellent location near nature, vineyards, and woods. The room is reasonably large, brand-new, and comes with climate control, a safe box, and multi-channel television.

The hotel was nicely decorated with very amiable employees who wants to spend times of tranquility and great service. The location was peaceful, away from the busier areas, convenient to go everywhere.

Rich breakfast, amazing location in the centre of the main building. Modern room with a glass of very nice sparkling wine from the vineyard upon checking in, SUPERBLY FRIENDLY employees from one staff member to the next. Had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and an individual safe.

The room was nicely decorated and well-equipped with comfy beds. The location is magnificent, close to hiking trails, family events, vineyards, and beautiful nature.

The hotel is modern and brand-new for 2 nights, offering a generous-sized and brand-new room. The staff is very amiable, providing excellent services with a great selection of outstanding delicacies. The hotel's location in a real winery adds to the experience and it's conveniently close to Guimaraes, the Douro valley, and the vineyard.

The room was well-equipped with a nice bath and magnificent views overlooking the vineyards, as for instance, just what was needed. The location was nice and the free parking was onsite. This hotel was in a very very nice area.

We spent 2 nights in a double room with bath, magnificent views and comfortable furniture.

We loved the peaceful and beautiful backdrop of the vineyards, with our room overlooking them. The spa facilities were good, and the massages we had were great for soothing our muscles. The outside pool area was nicely presented, located by the spa. We also appreciated the welcome touch of having a bottle of their own produced spumante, along with artisan biscuits and pastel de natas, waiting for us in our room.

The spa area & the restoration are located in a different building than the rooms (without covered connection). Room to my taste in terms of the colors was a little too "dark".

Architecturally very beautiful complex, which fits perfectly into the surroundings. Very good unobtrusive service at a reasonable price.

As adventure travelers, we loved the guided tour of the Romanesque Tour that we were able to book at short notice. The hotel's location allowed us to enjoy beautiful views and the surrounding vineyards. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and they exceeded our expectations. The hotel provided comfortable beds, a nice restaurant with great wines, and a good breakfast selection.

Felt like it was our own home, no complaints whatsoever.

This hotel is outstanding in all respects. The architecture amidst the vines, the well thought-out interior design of the rooms, the top service of the reception, the tasting menu with wine accompaniment, the competent and friendly team in the restaurant, the excellent buffet at breakfast. The Monverde - Wine Experience Hotel is marvellous!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely place where the hotel was very clean, the restaurant served delicious dishes for both dinner and breakfast.
