Short cab ride to all areas of interest, the travelodge in downtown Monterey is a great place to stay and room has a lounge chair ottoman, to enjoy TV, w/o just lying on the bed.

Good location in that was 2 blocks to the free trolley, hotel was clean and the service from the clerks and the housemaids were excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was welcoming and substantial.

Good location, excellent value and booked through AAA at a great price for July at Monterey. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable, nice manager, our room was super clean and super quiet. The continental breakfast was adequate.

The surrounding area wasnt particularly pleasant and neither were the rooms, the hotel was almost next to the bus station you can get buses to most places around Monterey, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good.
