The beach is beautiful and although public, it has tranquil and secluded feel. Grounds and bungalows are immaculate. Bungalows are right on the beach. The location is convenient to both Jaco and Manuel Antonio.
We traveled with college-aged children and there is not much going on after dark.

Beautiful grounds. Enjoyed the small bungalows. Proximity to the ocean.
Staff did not engage, although they were efficient. Bungalows should have small refrigerators and bottled water should be provided. Food was okay, not great. Only white bread available. No flowers on the tables- why not pay attention to these details?

The defective bed ( comfordable but noisy ) Insects in the beach sand. Chairs at the restaurant would need revamping . Although all prices were in USD as well as the final bill, they charge your credit card in Colones using a rate 2% above the highest bank quoted rate(515 vs 504 C/$). I recommended the very amicable manager to raise the price to avoid that situation.
