Monterey Bay Inn - 蒙特雷

The location at cannery row was good for us as we wanted to go to the aquarium (which was fantastic!

The hotel location is great but if you get tired of walking around, do try the surrey rentals - they are the absolute best (and most fun) way to see the waterfront along the beautful path linking the aquarium to the wharf via cannery row.

The location is perfect--able to walk down to the Aquarium or to the wharf with ease.

Parking is 13$ per day in an underground lt.

The "underground parking" is not really underground.

Everything about the room was first class, from the ultra-comfy bed to the huge marble bathroom.

The room itself was nicely appointed w/ a comfortable king-sized bed, gorgeous bathroom, & a balcony that had great views of the bay.

On the positive side, the room itself was excellent - nice furnishings, beautiful bathroom, very comfortable bed.

We stayed in an Ocean/Harbor View room which had a huge bathroom, balcony, seating area, dining area and king size bed.

A basic in-room continental breakfast was included, but otherwise this is not really a full service hotel – the rest of the room service is effectively a take-out menu for a local restaurant.

The hotel does not have a restaurant and the breakfast is brought in each morning from a local restaurant.

We also ate our free breakfast there each morning.

Just two blocks back from the Inn is an Irish Bar the food there really good and the Gunniess was just right.

Near shops, the hotel offers a continental breakfast and the staff was beyond friendly and helpful.

The binoculars provided were a nice touch, as were the free cookies and fruit at reception, and front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful.

As the staff left for the evening, we hung around in the sauna and then hit the jacuzzi on the second floor (open all night).

There is a roof-top pool/whirlpool on the fourth floor with an unbelievable view of Monterey Bay, and also another pool/whirlpool and sauna on the second floor.

It finally was 'delivered' to us in the lobby as we checked out (and voiced our complaint).

Admittedly, most hotels now include Wi-Fi with their rates.

Nice touch with the DVD player and I did appreciate the high speed internet access.

Hot tubs on the roof and in a courtyard were clean and nice.

The service is wonderful and clean room - recommend to anyone.

The room was OK, a little outdated but fine, and clean.

Rooms needed a little updating but they were clean and spacious.

The bathroom has double sinks and everything was clean, comfortable and modernly stylish.
