Hotel Montechoro Albufeira - 阿尔布费拉

All in all a great holiday in a fantastic hotel which was in a good location.

We are both in our early twenties so we found this to be in a great location.

I could go on forever all in all a brill place, hotel location great, hotel a bit tired but very clean, if you go have a great time.

The location is excellent, no need for taxis, there's even a courtesy bus that runs to the old town.

One thing though it does sit right at top of the hill so anyone with walking problems might be best to avoid it but they do provide courtesy buses to beach and old-town and taxis always about and cheap.

The room had twin beds and we explained we were a couple and wanted a double bed , however they accomodated us by moving our beds together the following morning which was fine.

The bathroom had 2 sinks, a toilet , bath with shower and a wee beday thingy - all lovely and clean.

I would advise you to go bed and breakfast or room only as my only real complaint was the breakfast, but we prefer to eat out anyway.

To get a sunbed around the pool you had to be up very early and although there were signs up saying that all reservation signs would be removed the only way you could get a bed around the pool was to get down and out your towels down at about 8am.

The maid service was excellent with clean bed linen and towels every day.

A nice big hotel, buffet breakfast was nice, pool was nice, bar was full of ballroom dancers and music by the piano man, Not very entertaining but a good place to relax if you have sunburn cos its very dark down there!

Loads of bar and Restaurants, unique atmosphere.

I even had to wear my outdoor jacket in the supposedly high-cuisine glitzy 10th floor restaurant which has a narrow menu, bland international fare & an ourageously expensive wine card.

No information was provided about bar, restaurant, gym, pool location.

We never ate there at night as we preferred to eat at various restaurants down the "strip" instead.

Very good views, comfortable shuttle bus to beach was agreat service and the hotel staff were all very helpful.

Reception was nice, lots of room and very quick service.

All members of staff, bar staff, cleaners, reception were also very pleasant and polite.

The hotel swimming pool gets busy but we took the free hotel shuttle bus to Praia da oura beach, runs every half an hour, takes about 5-10 mins.

The hotel has a fabulous air conditioned gym with sauna steam and scottish bath.

The facilities were excellent, although beware that you have to pay extra to use the gym and tennis courts (But only about 7 euros each).

Rooms are clean and tidy, fresh towels every day.

The room was clean and tidy with lots and lots of storage space with 2 built in wardrobes.

The pool was tidy and clean, rooms were very large, the whole of the hotel was extremely clean, service was great and hotel in a brilliant location.

The room was very large and clean and all the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Rooms are very spacious, but desperately need refurbishing, although very clean, as were all the public areas.
