The preferred airport for Hotel Montechoro is Faro (FAO-Faro Intl.) - 24.7 km.

By car
Coming from the north from the A2 highway, exit at Paderne and take the A22 Via do Infante towards Portimão-Albufeira and exit at Albufeira. From the IC1 road, after 1.4km follow the signs to Albufeira and Faro taking the E.N.125 to Faro. Ignore the Albufeira-Ferreiras exit and after 3km, at the 1st set of traffic lights, change direction to the right (Montechoro-Albufeira), following the indications to Montechoro. After 3km you will see the hotel Montechoro.
Coming from Spain, Faro and Faro’s airport (East), take the E.N.125 road towards Portimão. At the set of traffic lights, change direction to the left (Montechoro-Albufeira) and follow the indications to Montechoro. After 3km you will see the hotel Montechoro.

  Central location and very good value for money. Helpfull staff and the rooms very spacious,as big as a suite. Excellent breakfast and the waiters very attentive.

  Poor entertanment in the bar, pool boring.

  Location is good and the rooms are big to accommodate 2+2 without any problem. Pool is excellent and clean.

  Large room great view from room, breakfast good.

  Too expensive for value and staff as well. The bath and the ceiling are rusty and the toilet and the bidet are broken.

  The pool area is nice and hotel Montechoro is nicely located at the top of the strip. Staff on the whole are friendly and efficient, receptionists could smile a little. The rooms are extremely comfortable, spacious and clean.

  In a good location, the courtesy bus was efficient serving the beach and the Hotel was not very busy. Room was great and the staff in the restaurant were very nice. Pool was lovely.

  Good location, old town and the staff couldn't do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Fridge should be free in all rooms and the bar is tasteful, relaxed and the music is excellent.

  Ideal location and the hotel staff were all very helpful.

  The bed under the sheets was really stained really freaked out my wife and food was poor.

  Shop and bar personnel were very good, efficient, hotel was practical and clean, good location because of free busses to beach.

  The television was far too small, breakfast was too busy.
