Montebello Splendid Hotel Florence - 佛罗伦萨

Good location: 10~15 mins from central station，breakfast is nice--having fresh orange juice.

The location is good and the hotel is located in a quiet district at a short walking distance from the Ponte Vecchio.

Great location away from the hustle and bustle yet close to the major sights.

A taxi canreadily be called (the radio taxis take about 2 minutes to show up) and the drive to the center of town is actually only 2 to 3 minutes.

Only 5 minutes by taxi from the main train station and an easy 10 minute walk into the City centre.

The deluxe room was beautifully furnished, the bed very comfortable, the Jacuzzi bath and shower and the rest of the bathroom luxurious.

Bed was pretty comfortable and an added bonus were the slippers and bath robes that were for use in the rooms.

Although I had paid for a room with a double bed, instead of twins, they had us in a room with twin beds.

The room was clean and elegant and large, great bed and the bathroom had a great shower.

The facilities are were great in the meeting room and in the bedroom as well; This was spacious and clean, with marble bathroom and Jacuzzi bathtub.

The whole staff is very friendly, the breakfast room is lovely and 3) The good food restaurants are close by.

Very nice restaurant and bar, but we didn't eat there because it was by far the most expensive and we had many other options.

The pillows are amazing, the restaurant is excellent both during breakfast.

We found the restaurant on site to be a welcome change from some of the noisy restaurants around the city.

Florence attractions are steps away and typical restaurants are next door, but if you want experience a romantic dinner, book an outside table at Capriccio restaurant.

It was disappointing, however, that the attitude of the staff - from the front desk and concierge to the restaurant - was more one of indifference - they were unfriendly and just didn't seem very happy being there.

A 10euro charge for a concierge service which we were not advised about at the time of choosing to use the consierge to book some tickets (I'm used to concierge services being foc).

The also had a gym with brand new several machines and weights which was perfect for a fanatic of fitness like me.

Our first night was quite noisy, our rooms were located right next to the elevator/lift.

The entrance from the road opens into the pretty garden terrace with fountain at its centre, past which are the steps to the hotel lobby.

The hotel provides high speed Internet access in the rooms (wireless and LAN connection) for a small fee.

My husband was very happy with wi-fi since he travelled with his laptop.

Our room was large, spotlessly clean, comfortable and with the balcony I had requested.
