Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort Monte Carlo

While the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel is at the east end of tiny Monaco, its easy to bus to just about any location.

The hotel is probably one of the most beautiful one I've stayed at: the location directly by the sea, the impressive pool scene and a modern room design.

This is not a cheap option but then again it is in prime location in Monte Carlo, so wouldn't expect anything else.

There was a local bus that ran past the front door (taxis are expensive) though I did walk to both the Casino and Monaco-Ville a couple of times (it took about 45 mins to the Casino).

The hotel is located at the end of Monte Carlo Bay, so the main casino square is either a very pleasant 10 minute walk away or 10 euros in a taxi.

Our well designed room was very satisfactory, with plenty of closet space, a very comfortable bed, a good TV and a nice balcony.

42" plasma tv, great bed, marble bathrooms, amazing balcony(came with 3-4 chairs and a comfortable outdoor coach.

The bathroom was also nice, well lit, big shower, a very deep bathtub, ( which took ages to fill), thick towels and nice bath-products.

The rooms have fantastic balconies off them, with a large day bed which you can lie on and look out over the sea.

The great asset of this hotel: best bed ever, excellent service and the room had large terrace.

To me dinner was less of a success; I did like the style and ambience of the main restaurant, but the food they serve is very much based on new style cuisine, which tends to mean tiny portions of this and that, with exotic herbs and sauces.

Sitting up in the bar area enjoying a drink was just as pleasant and breakfast in the hotel was very good.

First the pros: nice rooms, beautiful spa, excellent restaurant and bar choice, beautiful pool and lagoon, good overall service.

Furthermore the food in the Orange Vert bar for lunch was delicious.

Only the pool restaurant (Las Brisas) serves light food for lunch, so one has no choice than to go outside to have a simple dinner.

From the full time concierge team, to the bell boys to the waiters, the service at this hotel is absolutely first class.

A nice hotel on the surface and it could be great, but they need a good hotel manager to teach the staff some customer service.

Friendly staff and excellent service make this, one I will certainly return to again.

The service was excellent, the staff could not do enough for you, the hotel itself was stunning and the location right by the sea was brilliant, although there isn't really a beach.

MC Bay is a four star hotel laid out like many luxurious resorts we are used to in the United States, lush garden walkways, enormous sand bottomed lagoon, inside/outside swimming pool, jacuzzis everywhere, and a spa with services to die for.

There is a gym (although we never used it) which looked very well equiped, they had treatment rooms, there is an indoor pool as well as a sand bottomed swimming pool outside.

The pool was huge and the fitness studio was well equipped.

Bathroom were both spotless and the food was good.
