Yes there were a lot of young people, but also 40 somethings who wanted to stay in a great location which is close to Old Town, shopping and nightclubs.

The pros : nice beds , location is close to everything & The lobby is really nice on the inside.

Over all i would stay here again, maybe not over the weekend, its location in the old town is second to none with other bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, i am glad that we tried it.

Our cab/limo driver told us (as we were leaving) that this hotel is known for "anything goes" -- great.

The suite was two crappy rooms (one with seating the other with a bed) with a door between them.

The rooms were tastefully designed, even though the bathrooms were dated, the character and what they did to spice up the room made up for it.

The pool area was nice, the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever experienced and the lobby was fantastic.

Oh, yeah, and try their sangria (but be careful :)) The rooms are spectacular - the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on.

My room was small but very clean and hip and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Restaurant food was good, but $80 for breakfast for two (omelettes / coffee / juice) was absurd.

Also, every single employee was friendly beyound friendly and very helpful and enthusiastic about the hotel/restaurant/bar.

The overall feel of the hotel bar, lobby and restaurant is very hip and modern but that is not the case with the rooms.

Catering was passable, but the catered lunch served at the hotel was exactly identical (ceasar salad, chicken salad, shrimp salad, rock-hard rolls and cheese platter) on the two days we ate in the restaurant.

We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the relaxed time and the great drinks at the bar and the absolutely delicious food at Asia de Cuba.

Also, despite three phoned-in requests to both the cleaning service and the concierge for servicing of the room, the cleaning service skipped it for two days and we finally had to go to the front desk to ask for service before it was done.

The front desk staff and concierge were very helpful.

The staff, from the valet to the front desk, to the bartender at the pool and the pool waitress were all exceptionally friendly and professional.

The Hotel was clean, they have a great pool scene equipped with a full bar service, great sound system and a big spa tub outside at one end of the big pool.

Gym nice new equipment that was overlooking the pool was entertaining to watch.

The first impression you get is that it is spa like, however they played loud head-banging music at the pool.

For what they charge, wireless internet should be complimentary.

Our room was clean, the Red Bar was great.

The room was clean, and the linens were super white.

The rooms and lobby area are nice, clean, and trendy.

Again, families should steer clear - you'll hear loud music at the pool, lots of people swearing, and the rooms have "intimacy kits.

There a many other great hotels to stay at in Scottsdale, the hipster staff was at least FRIENDLY and the beds were comfortable and clean.
