Location is excellent and the hotel is a nice place to stay.
Because of location you either have to have a vehicle or taxi back and forth to the city.
If you're getting there by taxi from the port be careful of your driver trying to take advantage of you in various ways once they hear you're going to one of the priciest hotels in town.
A taxi to the hotel from the port costs approx 60-75 Durham (approx $6 EURO).
Our bedroom and bathroom were fine, we had a standard double, (600 euros for 6 nights) lovely view of the beach/sea and in the distance Tangier port, Next time I would upgrade to a better room, not quite 5 star in my opinion.
Hotel needs to upgrade some of the rooms (paint peeling off, cane bed base starting to come apart, balcony door handles coming off).
The room was large and clean, the bathroom was enourmous (compared to European equivalents).
Rooms are very comfortable, tastefully decorated and well equipped.

There is a belly dancing show in one of the hotel restaurants starting at approx 9:15pm most nights.
