We had an amazing stay at this hotel nestled in the Troodos mountains. The hotel facilities were very charming and clean, with a lovely pine aroma. We enjoyed the perfect location to hike on the nearby trails in the forest. The breakfast selection was delicious and the staff was polite and helpful.
No negatives from this location.

Built on a hill, surrounded by trees, very nice environment. Very nice climate during the night, cool, with no humidity.
No tv in the room, just a tv base on the wall. Bathroom plumbing smelled bad. Very old and worn mattresses on the beds. Need replacing. Rather poor breakfast.

Sold at location at Troodos when in fact it was down the mountain at Platres, so not impressed. Have to park car in the street below and walk luggage up the hill and up the stairs, no help from staff....will not go back or recommend it at all...

Attentive staff, wake up calls and ironing free of charge. Magnificent maisonette suite, comfortable beds.

During my recent stay at New Helvetia, I was delighted by the stunning location and the serene atmosphere. The hotel is perched on top of a hill, surrounded by lush greenery and offering breathtaking views of the mountains. It truly felt like an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The welcoming reception made check-in a breeze, and I was pleased to find that my room was clean and comfortable. The balcony, which was larger than most, allowed me to relax and enjoy the refreshing pine-scented breeze. I particularly enjoyed sitting there with a drink, gazing out at the picturesque courtyard. The breakfast spread was quite satisfactory, with a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, cold meats, and a wide selection of cereals. I must mention that the feta cheese was simply amazing, and the local sweet "mahalebi" was a delightful addition. my experience at New Helvetia was pleasant and rejuvenating.
Although my stay was mostly enjoyable, there were a few minor issues. the hotel's construction made it susceptible to noise from neighboring rooms.

Family run hotel with a homely feel in the middle of the mountains. Excellent for those who like mountain walks. The family will do all they can but you get the feeling the place is in need of an update.
The bed was very uncomfortable and we were left with sore necks. The hotel could do with a renovation I.e: new mattresses, a lift to get suitcases to the second floor, running hot water and a more substantial breakfast. The shower was freezing cold every day. For the room rate I would expect a cooked breakfast every day rather than continental.

Very good location and a lot of potential for this hotel. Excellent breakfast which can be enjoyed in the clean and comfortable open air in the summer.
The hotel is way too expensive for what it offers. The room are small with old mattresses, door do not close properly (we couldn't close the bathroom door - really unpleasant) showers do not work properly, etc. There's potential for this hotel but they must invest a lot in the rooms.

This was a relaxing stay during winter time. Stayed in guest room on the main level which was perfect for me. I liked its nice decor. The location turned out to be good, right by Platres cafes and restaurants, Pine Trees forest and all the waterfalls, Platres cafes and restaurants, amazing forests and role park. Besides, this hotel was located 3 km away from Millomeris Waterfalls.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel nestled in the pine trees of the Troodos mountains. The location was absolutely stunning, just a short walk from the charming town center and surrounded by picturesque restaurants. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a lovely balcony offering breathtaking mountain views. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that every detail was taken care of. I also enjoyed a delicious and diverse breakfast buffet every morning, a perfect start to my days of exploring the beautiful surroundings.
Nothing to complain about, my stay at this hotel was perfect.
