New Year's at this hotel provided a unique experience with a stargazing tour conducted with actual telescopes, it was a highlight of our stay. The French-style dinner was exceptional and the classical music performance during it added to the festive atmosphere. We enjoyed the free wifi available in public areas, and the hotel's location in the countryside was peaceful and beautiful.
The beds were uncomfortably hard and the towels provided were rather small. , finding a place to eat outside the hotel can be difficult, and the hotel only accepts cash which was a slight inconvenience.

Cozy cottages like picture books. Friendly staff with good distance. Star gazing with telescope. French dinner and breakfast. English-speaking staff. Wifi available in room
All good.

Located in a remote area far from Mt Aso attractions, this hotel is perfect for those wishing to be close to the stars. The observatory is just a short walk away, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful night sky. The staff is friendly and helpful, always willing to assist guests. The private onsen sessions are enjoyable and clean.
The beds are hard and uncomfortable.

Spent New Year at an auberge with a unique stargazing tour. The staff were friendly and helpful and most of them could understand English. The hotel offered excellent French dinners that were delightful. There was a classical music performance during dinner by guest performers, which added to the festive atmosphere. The hotel room had Wi-Fi available in the public areas with easy access, and the location was fantastic for stargazing and exploring nature.
The beds were uncomfortably hard and the family room was too small for four people. The room and walls were not very clean and were thin enough to hear the baby crying next door.

The hotel was spotless and boasted amazing facilities, including a beautiful garden with swings and a hammock. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Staff was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Location was nestled in a stunning mountain area.
Everything great.
