The hotel was clean, breakfast was certainly value for money and the overall impression is one of helpfulness and a keen interest to make your stay a good one.
We stayed for one night and have to say for the price of the hotel it was excellent , I have paid a lot more for hotels that are not up to much , but I have to say the Millennium in GLASGOW was fab.
The hotel has organised a discount (half price) and overnight parking was £6.
We ate in the hotel brasserie and the food was very good and good prices.
If you get a good rate for this hotel and don't mind older more classic decor I would recommend staying here for the location alone.
We were in Glasgow for only one night so we chose the Millenium for its central location and we were not disappointed.
The location of the hotel is perfect for shopping and sightseeing with many restaurants only 100m away.
A helpful tip, if you are flying into Glasgow, use the Glasgow Flyer bus from the airport into the city, there is a stop right across the square from the hotel.
The hotel is right in the center of the city and convenient for the Glasgow Flyer coach to and from the airport.
The room, bathroom and dressing room was immaculate and the bed was a generous queensize.
One colleague complained about having a dirty toilet seat in their bathroom, and the bedroom of another colleague was quite run-down compared with the standard of my room.
My fourth room was excellent - spacious, with a small lounge area, comfortable beds, bright and well-decorated bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, and a small hallway with a generously proportioned mirror.
The room and bed were the largest of any that we had stayed in during our vacation to the UK.
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights over Easter weekend on a dinner bed and breakfast rate for £99 per room per night.
Great location, friendly staff, inoffensive decor and a well lit reception, bar and restaurant area; a fantastic spot to eat breakfast overlooking George Square.
The food quality at breakfast was mediocre, but the evening meal in the restaurant on the 2nd night was reasonable.
Both bar and restaurant are on the website [--] and have great deals, especially in the bar, if you book online (it's free to join) you get a 20% discount on food and beverage.
We dined in the restaurant which I must say is of a high standard compared to most hotel restaurants.

Waiters, concierge, reception were all attentive and polite and score well, but the hotel really just needs a decent spruce up if it wants to attract more clientele.
Wonderful location just off main shopping area meant we could go back to our rooms to leave our heavy bags, the hotel reception is very presentable and very excellent staff they could not do enough for you.
Hot breakfast selection served at the table, the choice of light brown for the carpets may have scored highly and only problem is car parking at the local NCP is quite expensive for overnight.
Parking is in the NCP car park 3 blocks (4-5 minutes walk) away.
The lobby is 4 star and has a wonderful bistro overlooking George Square.
The hotel has wireless internet access but charges exorbitant rates for access to it.
The rooms so clean and george square was entertaining to people watch as we enjoyed a drink or two at the bar.
