  Hotel staff were friendly and room was lovely, clean spacious. Real ale bar and the food there were fantastic.

  The service was very, very slow and the TV had very limited channels and the WiFi was wired.

  A quality breakfast sets you up for the day and that was nowhere near, shower was over bath you had to twiddle hot cold tap to get correct temperature.

  Decor slightly dated and the dinner cruise on a narrow barge was fun the staff on was brilliant.

  Good location to town centre and very enjoyable stay. Very friendly helpful staff and huge rooms. Its famous clock, very lively bar and the breakfast was plentiful and the evening meal we had, excellent. The swimming pool was lovely.

  Chester city very disappointing and brilliant hotel. Friendly staff in reception and large comfortable room. Great bar and beer, breakfast was lovely, the leisure facilities were all very good.
