I recently stayed at Microtel Inn & Suites and had a fantastic experience. I was traveling for leisure with my family and stayed for three nights. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which was a relief for my bad back. The staff, especially Mrs. Rose, our housekeeper, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast had plenty of options to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the fact that the rooms had a microwave and mini fridge. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The walls of the rooms are quite thin, making it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms.

We had a fantastic stay here! The location was perfect for us as we were fishing out of Port Sulphur and the hotel was very close to where we needed to be. Additionally, we were happy to find that the drive to the port was much easier than we expected which saved us a lot of time and stress. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and we especially appreciated the comfortable beds which helped us get a good night's rest. Moreover, the staff was friendly and attentive, and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was also a great touch, allowing us to fuel up before we headed out for the day!

I did find that the hotel lacked nearby restaurants, and it required a 10-minute drive to reach one.
