For the amount of money this hotel cost, attention should be made to the details.
The month of May being off-season, we could enjoy very affordable prices for a hotel of this standing.
This place is in the upper price band of hotels and restaurant bills average around 250 euros per night but often much higher.
The front-desk staff were polite & helpful, as you'd expect in a 5 star hotel with world-class prices.
The only real drawback - because of the secluded location of the resort, there are very few culinary options in the vicinity.
The location is just amazing, the view is stunning.
A wonderful pool along the sea, peaceful location and kind of sums up the place.
The only slight drawback with this hotel is that it is a bit far from the main towns, and we spent more than 100 Euros in taxis for a few trips back and forth.
The foot mats entering the building during rain times were unsuitable, dirty as left unchanged and dangerous.
The bathroom was gorgeous with green granite and Etro bath products and the bedroom was large with a comfortable bed.
It had beautiful bathroom, living room, spacious bedroom and huge terrace with Jacuzzi overlooking the sea.
If you have large suitcases with you it is impossible to stay in one of these rooms as there is little closet space and no space for suitcases with only about 1 ft space around the bed.
The half hour massage I had was disappointing since the treatment rooms did not have walls up to the ceiling and all I could hear were kids screaming and playing in the bathtub in the room next to me.
Both the room and the luxurious marble bathroom were spacious and the room was nicely decorated with warm earth tones.
The food in the restaurants was better and cost less than half the price of the restaurant at the Mezzatorre.
The restaurant is incredibly overpriced for both lunches and dinner (breakfast was included in our rate) and the food is a good standard.
We found service at the restaurant to be amazing both at breakfast and dinner.
The restaurant staff was completely rude and ignored us at breakfast to the point where I had to stand outside of the kitchen door and wait for the chef to come out to ask him for tea/coffee.
We ate in the restaurant next to the pool a few times, but the food wasn't that good.
The staff in every area was unusually kind and professional, the grounds of the hotel were absolutely fantastic, the personnel was excellent.
Attentive and friendly personnel of the hotel, great service, my room was nice and spacious.
Thirdly, the spa was stunning to look at, but again quite unfriendly, and the reservation staff there seemed distracted and almost impatient.
The food and service is excellent - try the Gnocchi!
The hotel has a nice big pool on a terrace just above the sea with sun loungers and parasols as well as a lovely spa with a very good selection of treatments.
During the day we spent many days lounging by the pool and then jumping into the ocean but we would also recommend spa treatments at the Mezzatorre, we each experienced the thermal waters, mud wraps and massages.
The thermal baths are relaxing but it is generally like a large Jacuzzi and I am not sure worth the inclusion in the spa package deal.
The rooms are very clean and well-appointed with private balconies and unobstructed sea views.
Spacious bedroom, a nice terrace and the breakfast buffet is fresh.
