The design and the staff are great at Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver. It's good for those on business trips and gives off an air of simplicity in busy Vancouver. The cuisine was very highly praised, but some felt that the rooms needed to be updated.

Centrally located in the vibrant heart of Vancouver, the luxurious four-star Metropolitan hotel is only minutes away from the beautiful Stanley Park and Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

Built in 1984 this elegant property with contemporary Feng Shui design offers fitness facilities, an exotic garden, a heated indoor pool and a full-service spa and wellness centre.

All 197 spacious quiet guestrooms come with soundproof walls and triple glazed windows, small balconies, cozy beds with down duvets and feather soft pillows, individual climate control, over-sized marble bathrooms with separate tubs and stand-up glass showers, satellite television and internet access.

The Diva at the Met restaurant serves a variety of local culinary favorites and evening cocktails.

Staff were very friendly, the bed was one of the most comfortable in I've ever slept.
Bar very reasonable, we particularly liked having the bathrobes to wear to and from the pool, the food at the Diva is gourmet.
Excellent personalised service and fantastic bed.
