The hotel has a great central location, making it very convenient for exploring the city. It is situated in the heart of the city, just a stone's throw away from a train station, making it easily accessible from the airport. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, ensuring a pleasant stay. The rooms, though small, are clean and tidy, with some unique touches like a balcony. Basic amenities are provided, and the breakfast includes goodies from a nearby store, adding to the value for money.
No improvement needed, everything was fine.

The room had very nice beds and looked very smart. The bar associated with the hotel is very good.
The location is just on the edge of the "tenderloin" district which is not the ideal place to stay when travelling, you really need to keep your wits about you. It is however only a 5 minute walk from union square.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the location was absolutely fantastic. It was right in the heart of the city, close to all the major tourist attractions and public transportation, making it incredibly convenient for exploring San Francisco. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service throughout our stay. They were always ready to answer questions and give recommendations, ensuring we had a memorable experience. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with attention to detail that made us feel at home. I especially appreciated the coffee provided in the rooms, a great way to start the day. Lastly, the value for money was exceptional, with breakfast included and a fully stocked CVS store nearby for any additional necessities. this hotel provided everything we needed for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory.

Spent Xmas at a hotel in downtown. A couple of complementary things on arrival and the location was great, near plenty of good restaurants and easy access to public transport. Room size was good.
Although the neighborhood was not bad, there were some homeless people around the area. The noise level at night was high and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Was in the area for Pride last weekend & the location was perfect. Public transport was easily accessable. Parking onsite was a big plus. Nice decor & helpful staff. Liked that a room key was necessary to get on the elevator.
Although the location for the purpose of our trip was perfect, the area was teaming with homeless & addicts. We were never harassed yet we felt uneasy. Lots of street noise at all hours of the night. The water pressure left a lot to be desired.

Not economic for a simple hotel that is located just where ugly side of downtown begins.

The lobby was beautiful and the staff was helpful with area recommendations. The hotel is located very close to shopping areas and only a short walk to popular attractions. The attached restaurant has a nice bar with decent food.
The area surrounding the hotel had a high homeless population making us feel uncomfortable and unsafe, especially at night. There was a lot of noise, including sirens and car alarms, making it difficult to sleep.

Excellent location, on the edge of union square and tenderloin and although it was about 2-3 blocks from the Powell Metro station it was actually only about 150 yards from the metro entrance to the hotel door. Easy to get anywhere. The business center is fantastic and a godsend for conference go'ers needing quick fixes on their presentations or other stuff. Great table to work on with 2-3 or about 6 max. The discount through Booked.net made this a real excellent value.
Rather minor in comparison to the budget discount I got but the shower head is too low in my room -- maybe not all. Led to flooding of the bathroom! Lighting in room a bit awkward but not any more so than most hotels!

Convenient location, close to public transportation, Union Square, and shopping. Clean rooms and affordable prices for the weekend. Great staff and a special loft area for large parties.
All good.

We arrived at the hotel at 1 am, ready to check in we were told our room wasn't available anymore for that night. They paid for us to stay in another hotel for the first night, we were exhausted after 26 hours traveling. Another bad thing is the people living in the street of the hotel. Good position if you need to stay close to the city center, but very dangerous area of San Francisco, especially during night.

Not one thing.
The parking valet attendant is a maniac. My wife and I witnessed him driving about 100 feet at 40 miles an hour in reverse into the parking garage! The location is scary, the room was scary, the bathtub had pealing paint on the floor - we arrived and then just left for another hotel. I don't even care if I don't get a refund on the first night's stay, I'm just happy we got away with our belongings intact. You need a room key to use the elevator, for crying out loud. I read an article in the New York Times about staying off the beaten path in San Francisco. The guy that wrote that article should be fired for putting people in harm's way.
