Mespil Hotel Dublin - 都柏林

Good location for city centre, comfortable and hotel situated in a nice area, reception staff particularly helpful.

The location was in a quiet neighborhood not too far from center city.

Great location, good value for money and the staff were friendly.

The taxi from the airport to the hotel cost us around 20 euro.

Taxi fare from the airport was approx €23 - 25.

5 minutes later the manager came to the room and we were moved to an apartment which contained 2 rooms, one with a double bed, one with 2 single beds, a sitting room and kitchen.

I booked two double rooms but we had a double and single bed in both rooms loads of room and a lovely clean bathroom with bath and overhead powerfull shower.

Once inside the door, there was a small hallway with a WC, then to the left was the bedroom (twin beds), straight ahead was a living room (with settees and coffee table), and a huge bathroom connected to the bedroom.

Our room was 1 large double bed and 1 single (which we used for luggage storage, haha), bedside tables, desk/TV area, little conversation area of a small table + 2 armchairs, ironing board, iron, hanging rail.

Breakfast had to be ordered at the reception though so we missed it the first day as we went to bed late and looked for the order form that is usually in the room to hang on the door, so be careful about that.

The bar/lounge in the hotel is fairly souless (especially for Ireland) but there's plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and bars 100 yards round the corner on Baggot Stree.

Round the corner from the hotel there was a small road of bars and a few restaurants, so we did not eat in the hotel – except breakfast (which was really good)!

We did not eat in the hotel in the evening or use the bar as we preferred to go to the pubs and restaurants in the centre.

Didnt get up for breakfast but had a bit to eat in the hotel bar which was good.

We never ate in the hotel's restaurant, but did sit in the bar one evening as it is actually CHEAPER than most in Dublin's Temple Bar area.

The staff on reception were good and efficient.

Location was central, i found this hotel well located and the reception staff were very friendly and informative.

Great location, nice atmosphere in the bar and excellent reception staff nothing was too much trouble.

The only negative side to it is parking for those guests with cars as the car park was small and full.

Although there was plenty of parking on the street.

The free computer with internet access in the lobby was useful.

Great location - we were at the Horse Show, staff were very friendly and the room was clean and tidy.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, room was clean & tidy service was excellent and breakfasts were good with choice of good quality fare.

Great bars nearby, staff were super and my room was clean and comfortable.

We arrived prior to the recommended check in time, but were found a non smoking room, 'executive, excellent size, very clean, and all dealt with by a friendly and efficient receptionist.

The huge attraction to this hotel is that the rooms are spotlessly clean.
