That was pretty awful and probably ruined what could have been otherwise a perfect hotel stay for the price!
There are probably better deals elsewhere in town, although if you get this hotel at an extra-special price, it's got to be worth it.
We found the location to be incredible (nearby to the Cathedral and a million places to eat).
Loads of fabulous restuarants and shops are literally just around the corner, so it's the perfect location to explore the Innere Stadt, as well as being so close to public transport that you can literally get anywhere you want to go in Vienna.
The Mercure Wien Zentrum has the perfect location.
It's even easy to access from the airport by bus, it takes only a couple of minutes to walk from the airport-bus to the hotel.
Stephens dom, Danube River, transport stations & tram links were less than a minute walk away.
It was a pretty standard hotel, nothing overly special very clean rooms, bed fittings and bathroom.
Everything was really tight – the bed, the room, the shower.
Very comfortable bed and very nice breakfast.
The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean.
We were shocked to see that our room didn't have a bathtub.
The bar and restaurant staff in particular are efficient and well-spoken and they bring a very young vibe to the place.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of fruit, meat, breads, cereals, juices, you name it.
Breakfast is very good, there is something for everyone: sausages, eggs, potatoes, fruit & vedgetables, cakes, bread, cheese and coldcuts, cereals, m?
The buffet breakfast was OK, but again over-priced for bacon and sausages which were literally swimming in oil.
Did not bother to have breakfast at the hotel for the rest of our stay beyond day one and rather went around the corner to one of the many cafes.
