Mercure Vienna Europaplatz - 维也纳

The location is very close to the West Bahnhof (easy to find).

The location was excellent, right across from the West Bahnhof, but the rooms were not too clean and smelled of cigarette smoke.

Good location, the hotel very functional and clean room.

Location is good: Westbanhof train station is accross the street, subway station and trams are adjacent to the hotel.

Across the road is the underground and Westbahnhof station-very easy to navigate.

What this basically was was a normal size room with 2 twin beds pushed together and an adjoining room with a double sofa bed and small table and chairs.

The room was tiny, but the bed was OK and it was quiet.

Both rooms had a tv and we shared a bathroom.

Free wifi in lobby, friendly staffs and i personally found the bed was excellent regarding comfort.

During the day there are plenty of cafe's open for breakfast and lunch, which are much cheaper than hotel's 13Euro/person.

Their breakfast buffet costs an astounding 14 Euro/person (more than we spent on lunch or dinner most days), so we opted to have breakfast elsewhere.

Breakfast was included with the conference and I like the food, it was very digestion friendly for this US traveler!

Didnt eat dinner here although there was a restaurant.

Breakfast was typical eurpean buffet, cereal and juice, small selection of cheese and cold meat, some cooked items (eggs, bacon) and croissants/pastries.

The location was very good, the staff of the hotel was very helpful and the employees at the reception were really professional.

Staff were also very friendly at the front desk.

Staff were friendly, and helped me sort out touristy stuff during the day on my own.

Problems with this hotel: Their parking garage was difficult to find and use.

Once inside, there were very few parking spaces and they were all tiny.

It's also not clear how the hotel keeps track of which guests are parking there -- we may have been able to avoid the 15 Euro/day fee by not mentioning it to them, since you didn't need your hotel key or any sort of code to access the garage.

Bathroom was a bit small, but very clean.

Room was clean and spacious, and thankfully as we were in a heatwave the air-con was great!
