Mercure Paris Montmartre - 巴黎

This hotel is in a great location, around the corner from the Moulin Rouge and close to lots of restaurants.

Good location close to the metro, also very near Moulin Rouge for example and lovely room on top floor.

The hotel is situated in Montmartre and is within walking distance from the nearest metro and bus station.

The subway station is 2 min walk from the hotel and the bus station (where we took the bus "95" that goes to the most important places of paris) is one minute walk only!

The reception was polite and helpful, my room (twin one-bed) and bathroom was very clean every day, the towels changed every day.

I stayed from 6/8/2005 to 12/8/2005 in the fourth floor in an one-bed room which was really large for just one person.

The hotel and room were immaculate, Not huge, but more than comfortable and lovely toiletries in the bathroom, which does make you feel they are looking after you.

This hotel is only a three star but highly recommended, very close to the Moulin Rouge and a wonderful street of local shops and patissiers and restaurants where you could get fine meals.

The buffet restaurant tended to be very busy between 8am and 9am and at times some of the food items had not been restocked.

The breakfast was like a banquet with fantastic quality cold meats, hot bacon and eggs and lots of fresh fruit yogurt and pastries - too much really.

The hotel bar was pleasant and the staff were friendly.

The hotel is very nice (has some modernisation works going, but no problem) - modern, efficient and nice breakfast.

Unlike other reviewers we found the front desk staff to be friendly, helpful and gave us some good restaurant tips.

All the staff were very pleasant and all reception staff spoke English.

Furthermore the price was great and all the staff were really helpful.
