The location is fine if you are coming by car, it is in woodland approx 1 km from the motorway.

Mercure Mons in a better location,woodland setting but not as high a standard as Sindelfingen.

Very good common areas, the city's only a taxi-ride away and large car park a bonus as parking is a problem.

The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, the bathroom was not so nice.

My room was a good size and the aircon was most welcome but the decor was rather dated shades of beige and brown and the bath was a bit grubby.

I am now staying there for a week, and the bath is filthy, the water beige colored, and there is no hot water.

Welcoming staff, spacious rooms and breakfast was good also.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms and dinner at the restaurant was quite good the limited menu.

On my visit, there were quite good facilities at the hotel: a restaurant (quite nice food but limited menu and very slow service); a late bar (similarly slow service) and an outdoor pool and small "fitness room" in the basement (this was closed).

The quite delightful receptionist also had to double as bar person and dinner at the restaurant was quite good the limited menu.

The service and food are great and the breakfast is truly impressive - particularly to those not used to "European continental style" breakfasts.

Facilities of the hotel were excellent and staff were very pleasant.

We had been rather spoilt by excellent stay en route to Austria at Mercure Sindelfingen an der Messe which had been superb value for money and excellent service.

Nowhere near as much choice, my 11 yr old son loved the pool.

Good points: - wireless internet, though rather expensive (10 eur for 2 hours you can use over your stay, or 20 euros for 24 hours to be used in one go).

Hotel and rooms are clean, but not spotless.

On the plus side, my double room was clean and spacious, staff very courteous and helpful.

An excellent hotel, welcoming staff, well located for SHAPE and good quality, clean, spacious rooms.

This has all the aesthetics of a 4 star but none of the basics of even a 2 stars like clean bathroom and hot showers.

The rooms are clean, well appointed, and comfortable.
