I got great value for my money at Mercure Lyon Est. The room was bright, clean, and the beds were really comfy. The location was nice and quiet, perfect for a good night's rest. The staff treated me like VIP, arranging a taxi and helping with anything I needed.

The food for breakfast could have had more variety.

Whilst the service and the food was very good, it was quite expensive. Over 7 euros for 50cl of Heineken! The menu was overpriced for not very generous portions. The hotel is located on the edge of an industrial estate(conveniently close to the a46) so unless you know the area and are prepared to drive to the nearest town you are caught and you can easily double your costs.

The hotel was ok, clean and with a grate shower, wifi is free and staff very polite and helpful.

Restaurant that night was full, I waited more than 1 hour to get a filet and an ice-cream

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The large car park and easy access were convenient. The staff was welcoming and helpful, especially Julienne at the front desk. The breakfast offered a variety of options in a lovely dining room. Our room, although not large, was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for our needs. we recommend this hotel!

the breakfast and the very helpful lady who served even though we came down quite late. her colleagues at reception and at the bar were also charming. we appreciated the quiet (very important in such a setting),cleanliness and the way everythinmg worked smoothly.

perhaps the room was designed for a single business traveller rather than two people but, as we stayed only one night after a late arrival at the airport, that did not matter on this occasion.

This hotel is an ideal stop for those traveling to the south of France or to Les Deux Alpes. It is conveniently located just 2 minutes from the motorway, making it easily accessible. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with bright and correct-sized spaces. The breakfast offers a variety of options, including freshly pressed orange juice. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering assistance with taxi arrangements and other needs.

Rooms quite small but ok. Close to Autoroute and secure parking. No other places to eat near by except at the hotel. Prices quite high. Large supermarket 5 minutes walk away

Continental buffet breakfast very expensive for what it was 14.50 euro per person - it was not clear what the cost was at the outset we thought it was 8 euro pp, apparently that was for an express breakfast (orange juice, croissant and coffee!

Great location for easy access to the motorway and convenient for travel to the South of France. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. The restaurant offered a delicious dinner with a good variety of dishes to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect for me as it was really near the exhibition park and close to the airport. Plus, there was a supermarket nearby which was really convenient. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, from room service to the helpful tour and ticket assistance. The room itself was well-equipped with amenities like heating, air conditioning, and a mini-bar. I really appreciated the soundproofed rooms, as it ensured a peaceful and quiet stay. The hotel also had a lovely sun terrace and garden area where I could relax and unwind. The free Wi-Fi was also a great addition.

We spent Easter weekend in an industrial area east of Lyon and were pleasantly surprised by our stay. One of the best things was our cozy and clean room with comfortable beds, and the secure parking was a bonus. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of French pastries, sweet spreads, and cheese. We also enjoyed the proximity to the highway for easy travel.

my recent stay at mercure in chaponnay was fantastic. the staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me, even arranging transportation and providing tourist information. the room was clean and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.
