We recently stayed at a hotel near the famous pyramids and had a mixed experience. The staff at the reception were incredibly rude and would lie to us, and there was no room service available as advertised. The wifi didn't work for two nights and no alternative arrangements were made. We also encountered smoking indoors and poor hygiene, with dusty surfaces in the restaurant. However, there were a few positives - the breakfast on the first day was good with plenty of options, the security staff were friendly, and the restaurant staff at breakfast were kind and helpful.

Despite a few minor hiccups, our stay at Mercure was enjoyable. The stunning views of the Giza pyramids from our room were simply breathtaking. The beautiful lobby and pool added to the overall appeal of the hotel. The second floor cafe offered a limited but delicious menu with an outstanding pyramid view. The friendly staff, with the exception of one person, made us feel welcome throughout our stay. we would recommend this hotel for its good facilities and excellent location.

The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the nearby historical sights. Being able to see the iconic pyramids from the hotel was a dream come true. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The spacious and clean rooms provided a comfortable and relaxing environment. The buffet at the main restaurant was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options. the pool was huge and perfect for lounging and enjoying the hot weather.
The noise from the nearby road was quite disruptive at times. It's important to note, however, that this is expected in a bustling city like Cairo.

Convenient location near major attractions, including stunning pyramids and museums. the hotel offers clean and comfortable beds that guarantee a peaceful night's sleep. Lastly, guests will be delighted with the beautiful outdoor pool- the perfect oasis for a refreshing dip after a day of sightseeing.
The hotel is quite dated and in serious need of a renovation. The bathrooms need updating, and the air conditioning system can be unreliable.

had an amazing spa holiday in giza. mercure really went above and beyond with their king size bed, own patio and garden, and super comfy chairs. internet in reception area was reliable, unlike other hotels. the staff, especially ahmed, were friendly and helpful. overall, a great experience.

We had an amazing stay in this hotel. Best aspects were the location, very close to the pyramids and key areas of the city. Also, the breakfast had a variety of local and continental options that tasted really good. The staff was helpful and always available to assist us with transportation, and the hotel had a 24-hour desk. everything was excellent.
Could not be improved in any way.

The hotel provided a fantastic free kids playground area where our little ones could have fun and burn off some energy. It was well-maintained and had a variety of play equipment to keep them entertained.
My wife says that an indoor play area or activities specifically catered towards children would have been a great addition for families with kids. She felt that having an option to engage the children indoors would have been helpful, especially during the hotter hours of the day when outdoor play might not be as comfortable.

My stay at Mercure Cairo Le Sphinx was worth every penny. The room was comfortable and had a beautiful view of the pyramids and gardens. The location was great, especially being so close to the iconic Giza area. The staff treated us with utmost respect and was extremely helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast selection could use some improvement to make it even better.

Had a lovely time with my partner at this hotel. The room was always clean and comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere and a romantic touch. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of dishes and satisfied our tastes. we enjoyed the restaurant's and bar's location and views, as well as the proximity to the city center and main attractions, which gave us the opportunity to discover the city's charm by foot.
the room lacked proper lighting and gave a gloomy atmosphere. the minibar was not well stocked, and the selection was not worth the money.

The hotel is located on a bustling street with a range of amenities, from security guarding the entrance to a BBQ restaurant upstairs. In the immediate area, there's an adjoining restaurant, though it's closed in the morning. The hotel is based in the Gizs area and offers a picturesque view of the pyramids. The room and bathroom were spacious. The breakfast spread was limited but the beds were comfortable.
One of the staff members was rude and unprofessional.

The room with views of the pyramids was absolutely breathtaking! Waking up to such an incredible sight was a dream come true for us. As a family with two small kids, we were amazed by the magical atmosphere and the sense of history surrounding us. It made our stay truly special.
Personally, I found the capacity of the banquet rooms to be a bit limited. But hey, that's just me!
