If you are looking for top end luxury, go elsewhere, but for the price this hotel was great.
The problem with this hotel is that it compares so badly to the other hotels in the area - for the same price we managed to stay somewhere much better with a kitchen and much better facilities (blue seas resort).
We liked the location close to transport, staff are awesome and rooms are quiet.
Plus points: good location in town and comfortable and convenient - [ our stay lasted 11 hours only.

We stayed in a poolside room which was nice and clean (bit tired) but they said the rooms are going to be done up later in the year.
We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful, the rooms were very nice and well maintained (get a poolside room if you can).
Our room had a cockroach problem and is miles away from cable beach where all the major resorts are.

We did eat at the restaurant and the food was pretty awful and there were hardly any people in there.
Like the line in the old movie about the restaurant with the bad food but big portions, this hotel disappoints in probably every way but room size.
Breakfast fantastic, yes has a nice pool.
Being in the new building was very modern and the reception staff was very helpful.
Staff all very helpful and friendly, overall a good choice for Broome.
Other reviews mentioned nice staff, so perhaps they fired that unhappy shrew who icily checked me in with naked contempt as she rolled her eyes and snorted at me as if she were handing me a welfare check.
We had a great steak in the bistro and the waitress was fabulous.
The facilities were also excelent with a swimming pool, BBQ's, restraunt, bars and even a bottle shop.
The pool was amazing it was hard to leave the hotel to go all the tours that are around.
The pool was very pleasant, but was unheated, so despite the sunshine was very cold.
The friendly staff and room was really clean and tidy.
