City skyline views from bedroom window. design of room. large double bed.

Lack of sanitory bin in bathroom. heating of room via airconditioning very noisy, so had to have it switched off. only one bin for the whole room/bathroom. toilet seat was not clean enough. lots of dust underneath the phone on bedside cabinet.

The view from the room was very good, it was clean and a nice size. The spa was lovely and it was nice that it was included in the price.

Breakfast was over-priced at £10 per head if pre-booked and almost £15 if booked on the morning.

        Television very poor, 3 channels

The pool, sauna and jacuzzi opened from 8am to 9pm so there were plenty of opportunities for a dip throughout the weekend. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the main shopping centre - far enough to not be bothered by hen parties etc. The bed was fantastic - large and firm and extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and relatively clean. Nice view from the our 7th floor room. Wide choice of breakfast items (including traditional laverbread!) and good service. You could ask for things from the menu such as Eggs Benedict. I recommend going on an empty stomach in order to fill yourself up for value for money!

Horrible small bath (even for me at 5ft 2!) with hand held shower - not easy when cleaning off the chlorine after a swim. The tv was far away on a wall unit with no remote control, which we had to ask for. It was an old fashioned set and only had a few channels, no 4 star hotel facilities like movies or dvds. When we arrived there was no bbc1 because of 'the digital switchover' (but it came on that evening). Breakfast was £15.95 and not included in our room rate. The food was fine but a lot was served in buffet hot plates so the bacon and eggs were stewed. The hotel itself was obviously once an office block, which means there's no wow factor when you arrive. The decor inside is fine.

Very secure car parking. Staff were very pleasant and very happy to help. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Hotel room was lovely with big double bed and lovely ensuite with a bath and seperate shower. Room was very spacious. I can't fault the room at all. We didn't have the breakfast as it is quite expensive and is cheaper in little cafe's in the town centre. Swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi were lovely and clean. A fantastic weekend away and I wouldn't hesitate in going back. I would recommend this for couple's in search of a romantic weekend away!

        I cannot fault this hotel.

The staff at reception were most helpful and easily accessible. The rooms were spacious and clean with terrific views (we could see Castle Coch). The swimming pooll was clean and provided a good swim. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the meal was of a good standard. Parking was also very convenient.

The spa/pool attendant was unhelpful, hardly spoke, and kept a group of us waiting for locker keys for ages. She looked as though she really didnt want to be there on both Saturday and Sunday morning. The changing rooms were not kept clean and a client cleaned the floor with her towel and foot!

Sadly we were visiting for a funeral so had no time to use the facilities however the room on the 14th floor had stunning views and was a real treat. The size & layout of the room was perfect and spacious for us with 2 children.

The man on the front desk for breakfast was very dour!
