The location "close to the fairgrounds" means also a little bit out of town, trafficwise.

The city center is 20-30 minutes away and the hotel have a quiet location.

You can buy a tram / bus ticket for 24 hours and it is less than €4.

This hotel is located about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Graz, but there is a tram stop 1 block away.

Location is near the city centre and the free extra bed for children makes a great deal.

Furthermore price is good compare to other hotels and nice firm bed.

We were grateful for air conditioning as soon as you walked into the hotel, the staff was very kind and the rooms were big and pleasant.

Nice shower (actually a bath), but water temperature varies a bit.

The staff was very helpfull, the room was spacious.

Wonderful friendly ambience from all members of staff, clean and nice design room, variety of food for breakfast was very good.

It was well worth it for breakfast as there was a great choice of hot and cold food.

Hotel Mercure is about 20 minutes walk from the town centre, but Tram number 6 takes 5 minutes to get to Jacomiplatz which is where all the shops, restaurants and bars are.

Additionally the breakfast were excellent.

You really deserve such a breakfast experience!

The reception staff were extremely helpful.

Dont mix this place up with the newer Mercure city close to the river Mur (usually 10 € more expensive) and just learning to deliver excellent customer service.

As car driver however you will like the free parking space and short drive to the center (opera house, Herrengasse) in only 5 min.

Parking and the Internet were provided free.

Free parking on hotel grounds at the other side of the road.

All in all, the hotel is comfortable, the room was quite modern and clean although not really a 4*.

    Its near by the center town and possibility to park car for free just around the corner. Furthermore price is good compare to other hotels and nice firm bed.

    Large rooms, very friendly staff. Dont mix this place up with the newer Mercure city close to the river Mur (usually 10 € more expensive) and just learning to deliver excellent customer service.
