Mercure Grand Jebel Hafeet Al Ain - 艾因

Good location, veiw of the mountains is very nice and situation of hotel is excellent.

For a hotel that is in such a remote location I would have expected some sort of shuttle service to the nearby town at least once a day!

This hotel is worth a visit if only for the spectacular views over the surrounding conytryside from its elevated location.

The fact that both our taxi drivers, going out and returning to the airport hadn't heard of it, suggests otherwise.

Very remote and a eight mile taxi drive from Al Ain which I found had little to offer.

We had a “deluxe” (which I think is their basic) room which was very clean, comfortable and had all the amenities, mini bar, satellite TV with many English channels to choose from, and it seems all rooms have a terrific view.

The room was good with a comfortable proper queensize bed and fresh linen every day.

A nicely equipped gym but no hot tub only steam rooms and sauna.

The view of Al Ain City from high location, good reception and comfortable bed.

I booked a room which was advertised as accommodating two children in addition to myself and wife, only to arriviev to find a room with just two single beds.

Service was painfully slow at the Bar and Restaurant and the quality of food was diabolical, albeit relatively cheap.

Restaurant service very good, Breakfast & Dinner buffet had a good selection for the price.

F&B facilities are a bit limited (one restaurant and one and a half bars) despite what the blurb says but staff are friendly and food adequate, if not special.

The buffet breakfast was quite good with a lot of variety and we had room service for lunch a couple of times which was actually very good and quite inexpensive.

We booked this hotel online proir tro arriving in Al Ain and paid around £50 for a night including Breakfast, this at is turned out was an absolute bargain!

Good and fast service, concierge were very helpful.

Not so good points - Unwelcoming reception staff and inconsistent replies to queries re extending our check out time.

Customer service was average; I had to remind reception on two occasions to call a taxi for me twice before it actually arrived.

All the staff are very helpful and friendly and the manager personally went out of his way to resolve a minor problem we had.

The hotel has lot of recreational activities pool with water slides, mini golf, tennis, sqush, gym with Steam and Sauna.

The Mercure charges 65 dhs to use the Pool for the day, alternatively the parking area at the Mountain Peak is free.

There is a huge infinity swimming pool and sunbathing grounds with top of the range sunbeds, and because you are up a mountain, the weather is hot and 'crisp' as opposed to humid like in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The rooms are clean and well fitted - everything works including the Internet system and service is unobtrusive.

Good points - Exceptional views from Jebel Hafeet, large room (deluxe) kept very clean and good evening buffet choice.

The room was nice and clean and had a balcony with a nice view.
