  In a good location, the streets were fairly quiet around 7:30 or so and the hotel itself was much better than I expected. The lobby bar was nice, all staff were really helpful and courteous, the shower was a tub big enough for two people to step into. Toilet i found extremely amusing and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The pool was great.

  Within walking distance by day is a great spanish resturant and the view from the rooms won't be super impressive. The hotel is huge and at the front desk we didn't experience elsewhere in Brazil. The baths in there are definitely big enough for two, wonderful food up on the top floor and the breakfast is a large setup.

  Cab companies or drivers are likely to not recognize the brand name Mercure and specially at swimming pool is very noisy.

  Within walking distance by day is a great spanish resturant, the reception area is clean and polished, the hotel is indeed VERY nice. Staff is helpful, the rooms are huge and the top floor restaurant is better. The breakfast is a large setup.

  Nice pool area, good overall stay and the staff was extremely friendly. The beds were comfortable, toilet i found extremely amusing and the tour desk was helpful. The food was great.
