Great hotel, very reasonable prices and the interior was lovely.
Although this hotel may be quite expensive, I felt it was well worth the money especially given it's location.
Uk hotels are often very patchy in terms of standards and value, however this one surprisely surpased my expectations and that always makes a stay even better.
I'd advise anyone to check prices on the hotel's own website before calling to make a reservation.
Made us feel welcome, location is excellent and close to station.
Good location next to the Guild Hall, nice decor and the staff were pleasant and helpful.
Close to high street shops, windsor is lovely the hotel in excellent location and the staff are friendly.
A 16 GBP cab ride to and from airport using an excellent and reliable car service which I prebooked before going: [-] Windsor and Eton (just across bridge) is a charming town and is easy to walk around to everything.
It took away the stress of getting to and from the airport as it was so close and very quiet.
It would be better if there were bigger rooms for families as our classic double room had just a nice fit for a baby cot and for our 4 yr old son to fit in snuggly with us on the double bed.
The rooms are warm and inviting with comfortable beds and decent sized bathrooms.
We had a first floor "junior suite" overlooking the High Street, and good double glazing meant that we got a good night's sleep in a very comfortable bed.
Very nice tea service set up in the room, and the bathroom had heated towel bars, which is nice.
The rooms were very spacious, and the beds were very comfortable.
The food in the restaurant was a bit "nouvelle cuisine" with lots of arty decorations but still top quality and it was a nice change on a business trip that I actually enjoyed my evening meal.
The restaurant food was high in standards and breakfast was similarly tasteful.
We arrived about 8pm on a Friday night had a quick wander down Windsor high street and saw lots of restaurants but we returned to the hotel restaurant and we were really glad we did.
Breakfast however the following morning really was lovely (served in a different restaurant to dinner).
Room are cleaned properly, the bar is great and we liked a lot the breakfast.
Staff were very attentive, the concierge was very helpful and check-out was efficient.
The staff on reception were lovely, our room was so cosy and modern which surprised us as the hotel is old.
Staff were friendly and very helpful - from the car park attendant to the reception staff to the hotel porter.
Car parking was free and all this for £109.
Car parking although it doesn't look it, there are plenty of hotel car parking spaces, although if there is an event on in the bangquet area I 'd suggest getting back to he hotel before 7pm to guarantee a space.
The hotel was located very centrally in Windsor, being opposite the castle and offered free car parking to guests.
There was wireless access in other parts of the hotel.
The staff were friendly, the room was clean and tidy, we thought the breakfast organisation was.
Moreover the room was clean and the food was good too.
Rooms were clean and the afternoon tea was.
Our rooms have always been clean and tasteful, tea making facilities are good including a full sized teapot.
The room was clean, comfortable, and we appreciated the sitting area.
