Mercure Bologna Centro - 博洛尼亚

As we were travelling by train the Mercure's situation was ideal and i chose this hotel because of its location right across from Bologna Central Station.

The garden is unique in a central location like this and the hotel is located just near the rail way station.

The location is really good and locatino excellent close to railway station.

Location - The hotel is about a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport (fare about 15 Euros).

The location is great - right opposite the main station and airport bus stop, and a short walk into the heart of the city.

The service is very good--they will even mail postcards for you--and our rooms were spacious and quite comfortable, as was the bathroom (tub and shower).

Nonetheless, the room was spotless, the bed comfortable and the a/c worked well.

Room - Compact, clean, well maintained, comfortable firm bed, air conditioned (individually controlled thermostat), high speed internet (for a fee).

Good-sized bathroom with bath, bidet, hair dryer.

The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are plenty of restaurants and places to buy take away food around the hotel - and loads more in the city centre.

Restaurants - No restaurants in this hotel, but there are good ones within walking distance (restaurant in the basement of the Star Hotel, which is just next door, or the one in the Jolly Hotel, 2 minutes' walk).

Very helpful staff, spacious room and great food in the restaurant.

The hotel breakfast (an American buffet) was fine with both hot food (scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages) and cold food including a very good selection of breads/pastries.

If you are tired from walking around, just go to the starhotel next door, great food in the restaurant and reasonably priced as well.

The lobby is cool and pleasant, reception staff.

The Reception staff was very helpful with answering our questions and offering assistance to choose restaurants in the city.

Price paid per night: 65 euros, front desk Staff were efficient and the rooms were very spacious and comfortable.

Hotels garden is amazing and we had a super last minute deal that worked out three nights for the price of one on the actual rate.
