        Quiet and peaceful, good location

The pricing structure for food and drinks was unrealisitic. Tea for two £4.95 was ok but I am not expecting cheap cups and a metal tea pot you would normally associate with a B+B, also the breakfast for £15.95 each. That is fine if the food is of a very high standard and presented differrently e.g. grilled oak smoked organic bacon with panfried free range eggs as opposed to microwaved cheap bacon with an undercooked egg presented on low quality plates and cheap cutlery.

Appearance of the hotel and spa facilities.Room size and superb grounds.

Noisy, wedding receptions kept us awake till the small hours.Windows in room difficult to open and right hand one fell out when I tried to open it.

Here for our son's Graduation & we were able to get away from the stress associated with it (mostly on our son's behalf!) Good location & nice room with views of the bunnies gnawing the grass - very relaxing.

Slippery stair edges!! I fell down several stairs after my rubber soled shoe slipped on an edge and I have some very impressive bruises to show for it. Evening meal in Soapies bar - I reuested no raw onion in my husbands Burger & was assured there was none but it had lots of finely chopped raw onion in the "spread" on the bread roll.

Attentive staff, but not enough of them in the bar/food areas in the evening

Pretentious, cheffy bar food, which was expensive and to be honest, rubbish. I saw very few people finish what they were served. I pointed it out when checking out - I was apparently not the first to complain, and without prompting, the item was removed from my bill - can't say fairer than that

I felt the hotel was very pleasant, the spa area was all that I needed. Cannot nock the size and cleanliness of the rooms.

I think that charging £16:00 for breakfast is outrageous, that is why I did not have one during my 3 night stay.

No complaint for price paid, but hotel is past it's peak with torn carpeting and slightly run down.

        Nice pool and fitness suite.

Ground floor room with gardeners constantly walking by meant I had to keep curtains shut most of the time. Rolls at dinner in the 'bar' were terrible.

It was a nice location with lovely views

There was bloody stains on the bed sheet and a sewage leak outside which smelled really disgusting.

A very nice hotel from the outside and in the lobby, but the rooms are the same as in most other hotels and although they offer comfort and are very clean, the price seems very high in comparison. First, we were located very far in the back of the hotel, at least 10 minutes walk from the reception, but when we asked the receptionist, it was possible to be relocated to rooms not far from the reception and entrance.

The spa is only open to 9 pm and offers a pool, a jaccuzy and different massages. The hotel interior is pretty much the same as any other hotel of this price class.

Because they were rebulding the hotel, it was unconfortable to get to the rooms. They could have give us a discount for this inconvenient.
