  A great location, i loved the village and lovely dining room over- looking the formal garden at the rear of the hotel. The building is fantastic and the prices for treatments is reasonable. All the staff are polite and helpful, a small jacuzzi type pool in an outdoor courtyard. Sofas round log fire and food are fine reception suffers.

  The location is wonderful and squirrels on the beautiful drive way. They always made a point of using my name - so many hotels simply think of you as a 'room number, the building is lovely and the staff are so helpful. Breakfast is excellent, the dinner menu is very nice and the gardens are very well kept.

  Long walk to the bedrooms in the extended wing, the bar is laughably expensive.

  The surroundings were beautiful, spa at the hotel were amazing and the standard of service from all staff was exceptional - nothing was too much trouble. Room was good sized and breakfast was nice. Dinner was excellent and the concierge were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool etc was spotless and clean.

  The location was lovely and i enjoyed the peaceful ambiance of the hotel. The service was great, the staff at check-in were really cheerful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, had a good choice on the set menu and we found the spa very enjoyable.

  The location was excellent and their friendly approach to our 3 year old child was delightful - again so many hotels seem to object to children. Service was good, the room was big and breakfast was well catered for. The evening before our event there was a large group for dinner and the spa was great.

  The location is rural and wonderful country retreat just a mile from Stratford. The hotel is beautiful, again the staff couldn't be more helpful and the room we had is one of the best we have stayed in. Food is nice, ntered - the good size pool.

  Location is fantastic and the Spa staff made you feel welcome. The service is excellent and exec rooms are huge. Breakfast could be better and the pool is very nice.

  The decor in the common areas is appropriate to the old English country house, bit of stress after a long drive.

  Beautiful surroundings and the dining room has a fabulous over the lake. We had a fantastic stay, all the staff were so helpfull and pleasant, the actual bedroom was well furnished. The food was lovely, were offered complimentary bottle for wine for the inconvienience and the Spa was very good and clean.

  Great countryside room views, pleasant atmosphere and new buildings in a beautiful environment. The staff very helpful, comfortable bed and the food was excellent. The wine was alos pretty good, the Spa was fantastic.

  Surroundings were superb and you were made to feel welcome. Staff were friendly, common rooms were fairly impressive and the food was excellent. Dinner in the evening was great again and spa was fantastic.
