Because the management run a very efficient and welcoming hotel and so this becomes exceptionally great value for money.

It will be the best value for money hotel (if you can get in and get an early rate) in Glasgow, yes it is a walk but exactly the same at the Marriott which just doesn't come close.

I absolutely loved this hotel, and as I was there on business I wasn't sure of the price of the room (it was paid for by my company).

The easy accessibility to the city centre, really nice hotel and excellent facilities for the price.

Great location, good Hotel and the staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Convenient location, lovely Hotel and reception girl very friendly & helpful.

The location is central Glasgow so you cannot expect to get a fantastic view but there was no noise overnight (and very little during the day).

The hotel is at the quieter end of Argyle Street, accessed on foot down about 5 steps into Washington Street and it isn't very far to walk from Central Station.

We told the bus driver at the airport which hotel we were going to, and he explained to us where to get off the bus - it was only a few blocks away from the hotel (5 minute walk, downhill).

The room was very clean, we had a huge super king size bed which was comfortable with plenty of pillows, the bathroom had a bath with shower which was spotless.

The only room they had left was a smoking room or a camp bed put in one of the other occupied rooms, or leaving the rest of the party and staying in another hotel.

My husband and I had decided to stay at the Menzies hotel for 1 night but after sleeping in our HUGE DOUBLE BEDS (one bed each) and relaxing in the immaculate, wonderful beddings, we decided to stay for 3.

The room itself was great and the bed was huge and really comfortable.

The room was fantastic - lovely king size bed and a shower that worked without any hassle - what a boost!

Good room facilities, the bar seemed clinical rather than relaxing and comfortable, i had one meal in the restaurant was excellent.

Restaurant food on our dinner bed and breakfast rate of £100 ([--]) was fine for what we wanted but not in the least bit exciting.

Leisure club, breakfast, staff, bar, easy parking close to town centre.

Bar prices were reasonable for a 4* hotel and we demolished the buffet breakfast.

Not much of an atmosphere as the dining room wasn't very busy with all the great restaurants in nearby Glasgow city centre.

Clean modern rooms reasonable bar prices pleasant friendly helpful staff good location near enough city centre to walk, lovely river walk 2 mins from hotel and service would be of a similar high standard.

Reception and foyer are spacious and welcoming and the reception staff were efficient, very very friendly, knowledgable and totally accomodating.

Bad points - Only one the reception staff and duty manager were snippy and on the point of being rude.

Very peaceful 's central location, i loved the quality of service and the staff we're polite and friendly.

The gym, pool and spa facilities were great.

Very good value for money, excellent price and the indoor pool near the lobby looked very appealing.

Moreover the rooms are very spacious, the facilities are very good i didnt use the gym itself the pool.

Additionally the staff is pleasant, very helpful rooms are very clean and the breakfast selection is is quite good.

Fantastic friendly staff, Clean well furnished rooms.

Our room was spotless and they had a good buffet breakfast.

In addition the room was clean and breakfast were excellent.

The rooms are well appointed, the restaurant is also good and the leisure facilities are excellent and clean.

The location was excellent, at no extra cost to ourselves made the experience even better and the buffet style breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful, receptionist was very pleasant. Beds were comfortable also and jacuzzi was great. Meal was gorgeous and the food at dinner was very tasty.

Location is perfect, the facilities within the hotel are good and the staff have been more than helpful and friendly. Bathrooms are clean and the food is excellent. Pool is very nice.

Leisure centre was excellent and the thing that topped all off for me was the massage therapy spa located within the hotel. The staff were very helpful, the concierge was brilliant and checkout again was quick. Room was very nice, breakfast was great and the Leisure facilities were fantastic.

The easy accessibility to the city centre, really nice hotel and excellent facilities for the price. Really friendly staff and receptionist bright and helpful. Rooms very spacious and comfortable, always good to see ice machines in the hallways, breakfast is fine. Great to have a decent sized pool.

The city shops are only a 10 minute walk away and location of hotel is nice. The staff are friendly and except the poorly functioning air conditioning. Bar snacks are good and food are great.

Glasgow flyer from airport only 2mins walk away, on checking out of the hotel final bill incorrect and all the staff are very friendly. The rooms are lovely and the restaurant is good. The spa facilities are fantastic.
