Menzies East Cliff Court Hotel Bournemouth - 伯恩茅斯

The hotel is located right on the seafront about 5 minutes walk to pier, perfect location, have stayed in many Bournemouth hotels over the years but this one is by far the best!

The general location of east cliff was very good and the situation of the hotel was lovely.

The location is superb and offers views of the dorset coast.

Excellent location and central for visiting other places.

When asked for a bus schedule, the young lady did not know what I was referring to and I finally found that no, they do not have such a schedule although if I were to pick up a yellow or blue bus I will surely get somewhere.

On our first night after arriving back from dinner we returned to our room and found that our curtains had been drawn, the lamps put on and our duvet pulled back ready for us to get into bed giving a very relaxed atmosphere.

The room I was given was tiny in the extreme (could barely push the desk chair back because it was so close to the end of the bed) but at least everything was new.

Big comfortable bed, lovely towels and loved self service breakfast.

7) The phone next to the bed did not work butthe one on the desk did.

Reception staff were excellent and bed was comfortable.

The food in the restaurant, both at breakfast and dinner is very good.

We didn't have evening meals in the restaurant as it was £35 per person for a four course meal, which we didn't want.

Continental breakfast, cereals and alternative food was also available.

Particular credit should go to the restaurant where the food was of an exceptional standard and presented by the restaurant manager with great efficiency and helpfulness.

The staff were very courteous, the dining room menue was varied and the manager of the restaurant were extremely friendly.

Well done to everyone from reception staff to cleaners, the chef, restaurant staff and managers; you do a superb job and we will be back soon.

Warm welcome, nice staff and the receptionist said We are not busy tonight.

Whilst certain staff attempted to be helpful, it was entirely clear that the management of this establishment is very poor and if I am ever to return to this chain, the service ethic has to improve significantly.

If you think that a small cold indoor swimming pool, a luke warm Jacuzzi and about 6 kids running around screaming constitutes using the word ‘spa’, then you’ll love it here.

Other facilites including an indoor pool, gym and jaccuzzi are situated at the sister hotel next door.

Car parking was easy and you are permitted to use the car park all day after checking out.

At this point im sure i dont have confirmation (and oh they suggest i go into bournenouth to an internet cafe to use a PC to retrieve the confo - this 4 Star hotel having such advanced internet / business facities - ie NONE).

Room spotlessly clean and a lovely sauna.

The room was clean, food was excellent and the outdoor pool was a little dirty.

Staff were friendly & helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, dinner was excellent surprisingly few guests used the restaurant.

Our room was comfortable and spacious, and always clean and exceptionally well presented.
