Menzies Carlton Hotel Bournemouth - 伯恩茅斯

In a good location, its a nice 10 minute walk along the seafront and the hotel's service is excellent.

The hotel is in a great location with superb views, good sized rooms, decent facilities, ample free parking.

We stop with our two kids and they like the hotel indoor and outdoor pool and close location to beach.

Good points: Great location on the East Cliff - if you pay for seaview.

Location wise- easily within walking distance of the seafront and attractions and taxis readily available if not too keen on walking.

Ended up at the Carlton in Suite 217 (mentioned in a previous review) - split room (large bed made up of 2 singles in bedroom and then sofa and 4 seat table in other - split by 3/4 wall between.

Lovely huge comfortable bed, nicely finished bathroom and plasma screen TV.

There were footprint marks on the bench at the end of the bed, the carpets looked superficially vacuumed but otherwise dirty, and a quick look behind the television showed the dust build-up, which also encased the phone and TV remote control.

Location great, good quality 3' beds making a kingsize bed- needed husband is over 6 and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

We were allocated room 225 and we found it to be very large, very clean with a good sized en suite bathroom which included a bidet.

I only had breakfast in the main restaurant - another depressing affair.

The rooms are spacious, the bar of an evening is very comfortable and easy access to local restaurants.

For so long one of Bournemouth's best hotels, its rooms and health club are now looking decidedly down-at-heel, despite pleasant public areas and good restaurant dinners (breakfast is another mater).

Rooms are luxuriously large, breakfast isn't a great deal better and lunch or dinner are excellent.

could say I didnt like were the evening restaurant food.

The business he is running is one that has no concept of customer service and one whose staff haven't the first clue about how to run a modern hotel.

We had a wonderful three day stay and I would like to thank in particular the reception staff who went out of their way to make us welcome and help us in any way they could.

The service were superb, the receptionist upon arrival was very friendly helpful and dining room etc was impressive as was the size of our room.

Good location 4 star hotel and front of house staff / reception very pleasant and polite.

Small indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi and a very hot sauna.

The indoor pool was ok, bit small, the jacuzzi was good, sauna and "steam box" were a little dated but seemed to do the job.

We also availed ourselves of the indoor pool, Sauna and spa pool and found them to be nicely kept, clean and welcoming.

Both our room and all public areas were clean and well presented, staff were very helpful and polite and the food was fantastic.

Our room was clean and the breakfast was excellent.

The bathrooms clean and in good condition.

Firstly the room, i was really pleased with the room, it was huge and very comfortable, it was also nice and clean.

30am on the day that we were leaving by a maid wanting to clean the room.
