We thought the hotel had a nice relaxed atmosphere, and represented good value for money considering the room cost little more than a travelodge and including a generous buffet breakfast.
Room very dated,advocado coloured bathroom suite except toilet seat that had obviously been broken and replaced with a white one!
The rooms in general were really poor - very small, wallpaper peeling off, the most uncomfortable bed I have every had the misfortune to sleep in - the springs had gone on one side - really creaky and generally grotty.
The rooms were very hot, no chance of cooling them down - had to have the windows open to make it bearable but there was a wedding reception on in the function room downstairs (just under our window) with music blaring out until gone 1am.
Staff very helpful and friendly, comfortable bed, food excellent in flavours.
I did find the bed hard, (I am unusual in preferring a very soft mattress), but my friend slept very well and the pillows suited both of us.
The reception was nice as was the bar and breakfast was very good the food was hot.
The rooms were fine, the food in the restaurant was excellent & good value.
Huge car park right next to reception, bar area is nice and modern, ideal for visit to theatre & shopping in Birmingham without having to stay in city centre.
The staff were helpful, the Duty Manager was exceptionally efficient and my partner liked the room was very comfortable.
Would stay again in similar circumstances and staff very good mark was outstanding.
Train station not too far from hotel and check in was easy andthe staff ere courteous.
The staff were wonderfully helpful, efficient and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Good value for money, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the indoor swimming pool ans sauna/spar/steam room was great we both loved.
The gym URGENTLY needs a deep clean - especially at the moment.
The 'health club' was tiny, the pool only suitable for sitting in, and the CV machines very dated.
Staff were very friendly and the bathroom was clean.
