It's nothing fancy -- a 3-star hotel in all respects -- but it was very clean, efficiently run, has a very helpful staff and is an excellent value for the price.
The Melody Hotel is a great small hotel and good value for money.
A strong point was the delicious and generous breakfast included in the price; also, free parking under the hotel and free wireless internet access in the rooms are plusses.
Also nice boutique style hotel, good for the price and two free computer terminals in the lobby.
Comfortable and well situated for all amenities, the hotel is in a good location across the street from the beach, the staff are very pleasant and helpful.

This small hotel (only 34 rooms) is at a great location in the heart of the Ha-Yarkon hotel district.

The location is excellent right across the street from the beach and the Melody Hotel is charming.
The rooms are a bit small (and the "double bed" is smaller than a North American queen), as are the tiny "towel-letts" in the shower, but for that price, at that location, you really can't do better.
We spent our first two nights in a room with one queen bed on the 7th floor facing the coast.
Our last two nights were spent in a larger room on the 4th floor facing the coast, but the bed was two twins pushed together -- we might as well have pushed them apart, because they kept sliding apart as we slept!
Allthough the room was a bit small it was clean and new and very nicely decorated with flat screen tv and dvd player ,the room had a wonderfull view of the sea.
It only has 34 rooms, but is recently renovated, very sleek and well designed, and very well run.
The rooms were fine, the breakfast had a good selection of food.
They're not awful, but the sound from the nearby reception desk and breakfast in the morning can be a bit much.
Free Wi-Fi internet signal was strong, breakfast was good.
HUGE windows made easy to get fresh air, breakfasts are great.
Cosy breakfast area, as well as easy taxis and overlooking the very busy Hayarkon Street.
Location was proximate to old city port, the hotel staff were all helpful and friendly, the front desk was great.

There is a beautiful roof top terrace with an amazing view of the sea.
Furthermore the rooms very clean and drinks downstairs.
