  The service is excellent (if you don't mind the price we recommend the royal service= free bar, daily newspaper,. The pool is huge (depth 1M60 everywhere).

  A great break for us (middle-aged couple, no children) thanks to great beach location, comfortable room, good food and very good service. Large pool area and very large beach Barossa never gets full, only noticeably busy on weekends between 4 and 8 pm. We had so-called "royal service" which brings some extras such as breakfast and free drinks in a lseparate lounge area, but I think normal service would be just as good and somewhat cheaper. Taxis to Jadiz and jerez are in the 40-60 Euro range,so if you want to explore these great cities and the area, you may want to rent a car (book in advance!

  At about 350 Euro's a night incl breakfast it is fairly pricey but second half july is peak season.

  The room was spacious and very clean, excellent views and nice balcony. The hotel staff were all very helpful although English was not spoken as fluently as in other more 'touristy' areas. The only other advise is if you want to eat in their A La Carte restaurant, ( which we did find very good) Then a reservation is recommended.

• Je viens de passer un week-end dans cet hôtel, qui est excellent et qui a un très bon personnel. Un excellent personnel.

  Just spent a weekend in this hotel, excellent hotel with very good staff. As with most hotels, the drinks and food prices are pretty steep, much better to eat away from the hotel. Not recommended for children who would like an indoor heated pool as their's is only for children over 14 and is more of a large jacuzzi. Excellent accommodation, position good for beach and golf.

• Nous y avons passé d’excellentes vacances (nous sommes un couple dans la cinquantaine et sans enfants) grâce à son excellent emplacement près de la plage, à ses chambres très confortables, à sa bonne cuisine et à son remarquable service.

The hotel has plenty of sunbeds/unbrellas by the pool and on the beach (a 100 meter walk over a wooden path through the dunes),drinks are also sold on the beach.   Our deal was room only and we were allocated a room with swimming pool view from the balcony. The outdoor pool is very large and was heated to about 24 deg C. There is also an indoor pool and jacuzzi which is great for colder weather. One irritating thing was that the satellite failed for international TV although OK for Spanish. The staff are good and the food was adequate. Would certainly stay again if the 40 Euro a night for room was available!

  Very nice location with long very clean beach to walk along, no bars along beach front therefore no rubbish/plastic bottles flying arround this well cared for stretch, also no high rise buildings. The hotel was excellent with pleasant and helpfull staff. I would suggest you make sure what room you shall be alocated at time of booking as options can be varied, i booked on Melia web site, when we arrived we where shown a room that overlooked the adjacent hotel at the side of the building, we requested a change to overlook the pool or sea front and where informed that these where "superior royal service" rooms and would cost us extra, we decided to go with this option to make our stay worth it. If you are an alchoholic who is happy sitting in a small room on your own drinking and eating breakfast at miday (you have to have the drinks in this room) then the "superior royal service" is probably good value, however both myself and my wife like to see other people in the resturants/bars ect therefore did not use this option much. The food in the buffet was excellent, with a very varied and good quality selection, including a large selection of fresh local fish and seafood which is nice to find in large hotel. This is a very nice place to relax and put on some weight through over eating.
