Melia Granada - 格拉纳达

The Melia Granada is an excellent location, centrally located to the center and within walking distance to the Cathedral.

Excellent location just in the city center, this hotel is very well located in Granada and rooms are clean tidy.

The location is excellent and the hotel is located in a perfect place for my needs.

Getting there was easy-we did not want the hassle of a hired car so we took the bus(dead cheap)outside Malaga airport to the bus station and a bus (luxury coach) to Granada and taxi straight to the hotel.

When I was late to catch up my flight on the day I was leaving, the staff was very helpful to arrange a taxi to reach the airport in time.

Spacious room with attached bath with good finishes, large single beds, air conditioning, TV, minibar, quality bathroom accessories, health club & swimming pool.

Good sized rooms, great bathrooms, really comfortable beds.

Our room is on the small side, but has a comfortable double bed and the room is very nicely appointed and clean.

Spacious and comfortable bedroom, with large bathroom; however, on the negative side, as mentioned in some previous reviews, the soundproofing (particularly between bathrooms) is non-existient!

They did not honor our request for a double bed, and non-smoking room as we had requested during the reservation, and checking out was time consuming.

There is a huge variety of very attractive looking restaurants, but such is the genorosity of the numerous Tapas bar owners that you may never need to have a meal, these bars were very busy even on a monday evening.

The breakfast room even had a little section of tables in a non-smoking area--a very welcome break in a land of smoke-filled restaurants.

The breakfast buffet is good, served in the elegant restaurant, and the lunch we had there was very good in terms of quality and value for money.

There are several good restaurants within walking distance, including Puerta del Carmen and the bocadillo restaurant across the street.

Bar service was good, reception were extremely helpful (organising a flamenco trip for us) and the valet parking was very convenient.

However the reception staff were fantastic.

It claims to be 4 star but it had no facilities such as gym/sauna/swimming pool.

However, there is a fantastic gym nearby with a nice outdoor pool for 12 euros a day.

A recent review on this site refers to a health club and swimming pool - I particularly asked at reception about the availability of a pool and/or terrace, and was informed that neither were available.
