In setting a review score we have tried to be objective about the hotel in terms of its quality, value and service only.
The hotel bar prices were very reasonable too.
The hotel was nice and found that was exactly we expected for the price.
Girona old town very good, convenient location and free parking close to the hotel.
The hotel as great - location and service at font desk very good.
Great location to bus/train station, the Mediterranean coast at Port Bou so that was convenient and the facilities in the hotel were good the staff very helpful.
We took a late night taxi from the airport which cost about 23 Euros.
The hotel is some way from the centre of Girona, it would take about 20-30 mins to walk, so you'll need a car (we had no problem parking), taxi, or knowledge of the local transport service.
The bed was comfortable and the room was tastefully furnished with contemporary dark wood furniture.
The room was spacious despite the cot and extra bed.

They switched us from twin beds to a queen sized bed at no charge.

We missed the restaurant but were relieved to get a drink in the bar after a difficult flight!
The breakfast is buffet style with an attendant chef to prepare fresh food (eggs bacon etc) on demand.
We had bar food one night and room service the other - both were of good quality and reasonable value.
Reception staff were welcoming and efficient, room/food/service was all very good.
Easy access to old city, great place to tour Catalonia and the reception staff are warm.
