Medusa is a small boutique hotel whose signature style is sensuality. Each of the 18 sleeping rooms is soft and luxurious with an emphasis on the tactile impression of the linens and the features of the luxury style bathroom. You will have a fresh delivery of chocolate every evening to help you drift off to sleep after a full day of fun activities.

Overview

Medusa hotel is located on a quiet section of Darlinghurst Road between busy William Street and the even busier Oxford Street. Darlinghurst is an urban village similar to New York's 'Soho', with a unique inner city vibe where the locals are black clad youth leaders, who include artists, independent filmmakers and designers.

All 17 rooms including will satisfy those who appreciate the importance of beautiful surroundings, comfort and privacy.

Stunning mixtures of timbers, a magnificent paper chandelier and extraordinary joinery pay homage to bold theatrics in furnishings where each room takes on an individual identity.

All rooms are finished in French white with a feature polished wall of individual color which gives the rooms their own identity.

There’s no restaurant on site, but favorable location completely compensates this fact.

The thai place round the corner was cheap, service was good - friendly and welcoming, the rooms were fresh and sparkling.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the heating was perfect and the shower a good strength.
The Medusa is within 1-2 blocks of lots of great cafes and an ideal location for wishing to sample inner city Oxford Street.

Eca bar and fish face are two wonderful eateries across the road, location is great. Hotel is very clean, the Medusa is bright pink building located in Darlinghurst and room to move around and a pick of comfy chairs to sit in.
