Quaint and cosy lodging between main attractions, not in ZTL for car tax. Spacious room with proper twin beds for kids. Excellent restaurant nearby. Room cleaned daily, fresh towels and water bottles replenished. Good location for exploring Ortigia and Neopolis Park. Helpful and courteous staff. Best pizza ever from across the street. Comfortable, clean, and large rooms. Convenient location near train station and Ortigia. Chic decor and inviting breakfast.

The location of Hotel Mediterraneo was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to the train station and a short walk to the charming Ortigia. We loved being able to easily explore and discover the beauty of the area. It's a shame that the management and maintenance of the hotel didn't match the potential of its excellent location. Despite the issues, we were able to sleep comfortably and rest well during our stay. The young man at reception was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome upon our arrival.
I would recommend Hotel Mediterraneo for its convenient location and reasonable comfort. However, it's important to note that there were some issues with the room, such as a noisy air conditioner and thin walls.

The room at Hotel Mediterraneo was so cozy and comfortable! I absolutely loved the pillow menus and air conditioning, which made my stay extra relaxing. The minibar and 32" flat-screen TV with satellite channels were great additions to the room, providing entertainment and refreshments whenever we needed them. The private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer was a nice touch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I also appreciated the free WiFi and safe in the room, allowing us to stay connected and keep our belongings secure.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the limited view from our room. However, I recognize that others may still enjoy the charm of the partial sea and city views.

The hotel is conveniently located near the historic center and only a short distance from Ortygia. It's also close to a bus stop where tourists can take a bus to Parco Archeologico or Ortygia if they don't want to walk. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage and the air conditioning unit is quiet and efficient.

The staff members were incredibly welcoming and helpful during our stay. The hotel was well-maintained and clean, with spacious rooms and modern bathrooms. The breakfast had a varied selection of food including fresh fruit, yoghurt, cold meats and cheeses, cereals, and bread. The hotel was located in a convenient area close to the shopping center.
The noise level from the street could be bothersome at times, especially at night. The air conditioning unit in the room was quite noisy, which may be disturbing for people who are sensitive to sound.
