While not in the thick of things, the location directly above the train station suited my schedule and saved me a great deal of time every day.

Very convenient location, hotel staff was very friendly and the room was clean.

Perfect location if you plan on traveling to other cities via Shinkasen (bullet train) as the trains leave from Tokyo Station just across from the hotel.

The room was quite small, but clean and well equipped and with a very compact bathroom - but what else does one expect in Tokyo?

Room was great, very modern, zen decorated, you could just stay during the whole day in the room if you don't want to get out as it is very cosy.

Rooms are comfortable and one round of drinks for 4 people cost me almost $80.

The breakfast menu is tiny and poor quality (I have eaten better quality food in a US$15 per night B&B).

I didn't eat at the Western breakfast buffet as I prefer to eat local food while traveling.

There are restaurants, coffee shops, and a convenience store at the lower levels of the same building of the hotel.

I do agree about the food, I have stayed there seven nights over two visits and was spectacularly underwhelmed by the Western breakfasts: I can't speak for the Japanese breakfasts as I don't take seafood or miso soup.

This hotel was IDEAL, concierge staff was great as they help you to find your way and the room was clean.

I found the staff, especially the front desk, very helpful and with excellent English - just as well as my Japanese runs out after "Kampai!

The staff did their best to be helpful, including giving me maps and directing me to the train station ticket office for my reservations and purchases, navigating me to the stores of my choice- even calling to check the store hours.

Go outside to the station area for a 'Morning Service' type meal.

Also, with no swimming pool or gym, this is really just a place to sleep and head off elsewhere.
