The staff was very friendly and the extra parlor was great for a family of four.

I was in Seattle for artistic work with a theatre company nearby - the neighborhood is great - easy walk to Seattle Center - fun quirky atmosphere and really really good staff! My room (202) was obviously an old apartment - loved the ice boxes and smell of old wood. I would say my only complaint was fresh air - it was hard to figure out how to get the temperature in the room down so just shut it all off - but I wanted to be able to open at least one window.

Did I mention the really really good staff?? Friendly, competent, honest, quick, sense of humor, clear professionalism.

i really liked the staff , although after talking to a few of them about some fire related concerns as i do this for a buisness i realized that maybe some emergancy training would be good .i ask a question about the fire sprinkler and said if i were being drunk and obnoxuois or by accident someone carring or working in the hotel broke off a sprinkler and the water flowed the fire alarm would go off what would they do?clueless . i askd if they even knew where the sprinkler room was , clueless . in a buisness that you are in there should vbe someone there all times that know certian fire safety procedures, the company that services your buisness should tell you exactly everthing you need to know , you do pay them every year.

wooden floors very nice but under the bed scarey very scarey found tube of cream under my bed and hadent been cleaned in a while .

This hotel was different in that it is not part of a chain and had its own personality. We found it charming and accessible to all we needed. A fair walk to the city but we enjoy walking. Great food over the road

Maybe the lack of a lift

The hotel is adorable. The room accommodations were comfortable & spacious. This would be the ideal spot for a family vacation, due to the kitchenette or someone w/an extended stay in the downtown Seattle area. The neighborhood is quaint & very safe. There are a multitude of local ethnic restaurants surrounding the hotel; all within walking distance. Around the corner is a drug store & wonderful upscale grocery store (spirits avail), which is perfect if you want to take a night off, stay in & prepare food in your room. The hotel has a lovely Victorian feel & the initial staff who greeted us were wonderful. It is also within walking distance to the Space Center [Needle] & if you're lucky enough to get a room with a view... it's spectacular!

The beautifully restored brick building's interior decor is dated & lacks adequate lighting, creating a dark feel in the lobby, hallways & rooms. There is no elevator, but the physically-fit bellman do a bang-up job. If you have trouble w/stairs, call ahead for a 1st-fl-rm. And even though the rooms are incredibly spacious, they lack warmth & coziness. A low dresser/desk like piece of furniture would be a nice addition as a central depository for jewelry, glasses, wallets/purses, water bottles, phones, laptops, cameras, chargers, papers, just to list a few travel items. Unfortunately, the nightstand wasn't enough and these objects ended up in various places all over the (1-BR-apt) room, raising concern of losing or leaving something behind.

Good Queen Anne location. Spacious & quiet room and functional kitchenette with full size fridge. Antique feel and furnishings

Uncomfortable couch in seating area. Shower has very low pressure and wastes a lot of water. Would have been nice to know about breakfst room however check-in clerk was very brief in his welcome.

The valet parking was a great advantage to us and the people were really nice and had great personalities. Very accomodating. Nice decor and did'nt mind climbing the stairs to the 3rd floor. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Would stay there again, without doubt!

A quaint, historical hotel great for couples or families. Average beds and useful kitchenette. We were on the first floor right by the street and it was very quiet. The hotel staff was excellent. This hotel is a short walk from the Seattle Center and there are numerous restaurants nearby suitable for families or couples. Would stay here again.

We were not even aware there was a breakfast room with coffee, juice and breads and rolls available. Did not see it on the website and were not told upon check-in. Our room was on the opposite end of the building and we could have saved some money had we known. However, we did make use of our kitchenette for breakfast which was also convenient, especially with children.

Loved the high ceilings & size of the room. Having a separate sitting room was great to use for computer/phone calls, alone time. Was very surprised to find a large kitchen, complete with apartment size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink, & breakfast nook to eat at. The decor was very beautiful. We enjoyed the extensive amount of ethnic restaurants within 1 block. You didn't feel boxed in like most hotel rooms and you had the feel you were more at a bed & breakfast. There is a coffee house attached which was nice. The hotel is on a bus line. There was some on street parking (so you wouldn't have to pay the $25 fee) but you do have to start paying at 8 am & it's only 2 hour parking zone.

They did have a very simple continental breakfast (croissants, cereal bars, & tea/coffee) but it seemed a little too simple and the croissants were dry. I'd either just offer morning coffee or add a few more things (and make sure they are not stale).

Very nice and cosy city-hotel, close to Space Needle. Spacious room, little kitchen, ok bathroom. Older building, so expect a few quirks, but in my opinion it just ads to the charm of the experience.

I loved the classic old design but unfortunately meant the interior was quite dark all the time. My unit was at the rear on ground floor and had to have lights on all the time. But the room was large with separate little lounge and kitchenette with dining.

Although located close to the Seattle Centre it was quite a way to downtown central which meant extra travel. The gym was across the road from the hotel and had only small amount of equipment.
