The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful and the price is nice.
Excellent location for visiting downtown, nice path along the bay nearby and the hotel staff was adequate.

The Marina Village Inn was a perfect location for our visit to Alameda.
It is just a short drive from the Oakland Airport and is great for your first night in the area and then once again at the end of your vacation when you want a quick hassle free drive back to the airport.
If you are flying in and out of Oakland Airport, this is a perfect pick.
My room had one queen bed, a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, wall safe, a nice work area, and was as quiet as a hotel room can possibly be.
My room had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee and some Bath and Body toiletries for the bathroom.
We were looking forward to staying in a nice waterfront room on the top floor with a king sized bed as we had requested and as we had confirmed with the hotel 3 months in advance of our stay.
I secured a reservation on line for a premium room with King bed and sofa sleeper for one adult and two children.
We were given a small room with one double bed.
What's good about this place is great dollar value and a nice quite location by the water, away from fast food and tacky restaurants.
Shops, stores and restaurants were a good 15-20 minute drives in heavy traffic.
It is located in a lovely setting adjacent to the marina and close to restaurants and stores.
Breakfast was adequate: toast, bagels,cereal,juice and coffee.
The shower was nice and morning Breakfast was really good.
The hotel did not disappoint as was clean and the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.
Has antenna ears on the television did we have a better stay and the front desk staff were helpful and pleasant.
My one negative experience at the hotel was the rude and unprofessional reception staff.
Professional customer service and friendly employees.
No fitness center on site, but a gym about a mile away with classes, batting cage, indoor pool, cardio equip (no TVs) and LOTs of weight equipment.
The pool was popular and looked clean, there is plenty of parking, and there are a couple of very nice little restaurants nearby (Angela's is excellent).
Free high speed internet and pool didn't look inviting.
The hotel itself looked great upon arrival, the staff were very friendly and cheap room that was clean.
The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious.
The room was clean and basic continental breakfast included in the price.
Pros: Clean room and away from fast food.
The rooms are not top shelf but they are clean and comfortable.
