The location was good, value for money from the hotel made our holiday just great and staff were very polite and helpful.
We booked a couple of weeks in advance and paid the price as there is no such thing as a late deal if four of you want to travel and share a room during the summer holidays (the hotel, 2 day car hire, insurance and airport parking cost £2,000.
The lifts at the hotel are a bit small and very slow but this is a small price to pay for the location and lovely views.
The prices for drinks etc in the hotel we found quite expensive but the staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel has an excellent location for those that do not want to be located in the centre of town.
It's location is very calm and tranquil, yet pretty close to the better restaurants in the area.
The hotel itself is stunning,its pool area and rooms I cant fault,and its location is ideal.
Its a 10-15 min walk to the main drag with young children (3-4 euro taxi ride if you are lazy) and a short taxi ride to the alternative Europa Centre (more family orientated apparently although we did not visit).
Its only 45 mins from the airport on a coach so easy for children.
We slept on the sofa bed in the lounge which was good enough for two adults for the week (we enjoyed a few drinks in the room after the kids went to bed) and the girls slept in the bedroom.
Although there were plenty of sunbeds you really had to be up bright to ensure you got a decent bed as some beds are situated in positions that dont get sunlight until 10:30-11:30.
The room we had was fantastic and spacious with 2 big bedrooms and 2 lovely bathrooms.
We encountered a few minor problems:- On arrival at our room on the 2nd floor, we found the bed light missing with wires hanging loose.
The bathroom had 2 sinks, 2 showers and a bath (and toilet obviously!
Although we didn't eat in the main restaurant the breakfast (served in the Pool Bar area) was of an average standard and had the benefit of not being crowded.
There is a bar and restaurant by the pool which does a good selection of food for snacks and meals.
Full buffet style breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the pool / sea and in the evening you ate in the main restaurant with buffet starters and deserts and a freshly cooked main meal from the menu (which was a little repetitive).
Local shop is very close by (5min walk) so if you don't want to pay bar prices for water, beer etc go there, there are also a great selection of bars (Wigwam, Flanagans Apple) close by and a lovely restaurant called The Red Rose which has fab food.
The breakfast is served out by the pool bar and was very good and varied.
Reception area, bar staff, waiters, poolside attendants, entertainment staff were all on hand to make our holiday as enjoyable as possible.
The friendly bar and reception staff all speak fluent english.
In addition staff in a lobby were very helpful as also other people and the reception was very welcoming.
Staff are excellent and the receptionist could not have been more helpful.
The pool was fantastic like wise the jacuzzi seats, the breakfast in the morning was of the same high standard and the waitress Eugenia was really very kind.
One thing you will note is that the pool terrace area is not excessive and therefore sun loungers are lined up in military fashion which does not give you a lot of privacy.
We were on the second floor and our view overlooked the pool and sea.
Rooms were very large, clean and spacious.
The apartments are fabulous - very clean, spacious, excellently equipped with super balcony views.
The staff were very friendly and the apartment was very clean and spacious.
Rooms clean and spacious, good breakfast.
The suites were fantastic, everything spotlessly clean and so spacious.
