This legendary hotel has the feel of Old Manila and is located next to Rizal Park. Critics feel that its becoming a bit run-down, but others love the traditional décor and the restaurants and bars.

The most attentive and friendly staff make up for any shortcomings in other areas, the hotel is well worth the price, the lobby is very welcoming, great ambiance. The service is reliable, rooms have improved much better and the breakfast buffet is one of the best in the Philippines. The spa is very good.

The hotel has a rich history, staff is excellent and the new rooms are excellent, well appointed. The food doesnt taste good, waiters are very friendly.

The colonial atmosphere is nice and authentic, staff are friendly. The bed is comfy, the food/ buffet in the different outlets is great and the service as well, on the positive the gym is excellent.

Perhpas more appropriate hotels in town and helpful staff. Room service was great, the drinks were very good and the bar chow, the elevators were also fast. The morning breakfast was incredible and the waiter was very courteous.
