Everything at the hotel from the rooms to the location, activites and food were top notch.

Excellent small hotel with a great location on the West Coast of Barbados - I have just returned from a 2 week stay with my wife and 2 young children and will definately be going back.

Great food, choice, portions, and unbeatable prices for an 'on the beach' location.

Getting around was very easy, the hotel will arrange taxis, but buses are very regular and cheap.

Transportation is really cheap (about 40p to take the bus to anywhere on the island) and taxis are not too extreme.

The rooms are spacious we had Room 105 which leads straight onto an enclosed patio, then a second patio then straight into the pool not sure if they use it as a triple but definetly large enough for a third bed.

They've also changed the beach towel system from 2005 so that you're provided with clean beach towels in your room the night before (they remove the old ones) when they come in to turn down your bed and put a little chocolate on your pillow!

There is not enough room across the front ot the property for everyone to have thier sun bed located at the water's edge but there is plenty of space on the sand to the side of the decked area in front of the swamp, as it is known.

The room was very large by UK hotel standards and had a Kingsized bed, writing table and chair, armchair and cabinet containing Tv ( News/sports/movies) and a fridge.

The is a flat screen TV and plentiful supplies of coffee and tea in your room which never ran out - and a chocolate kiss to go to bed with.

Restaurant/Bar: The hotel has only one restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and one bar (immediately adjacent to the restaurant).

Restaurant: Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are all excellent.

The restaurant was excellent, from the buffet breakfasts to the lunch and dinner menu's.

The bar also provided drinks to the restaurant, so that you could have cocktails with your dinner if you wanted to.

The bar and restaurant staff made you feel so welcome what more can I stay.

This was due to the hospitality of the staff, the excellent cuisine, the lovely accommadation, and the first class customer service from the owner Peter to everyone that we came in contact with including the maids.

From the initial tour of the hotel by the receptionist, the bar staff, restaurant staff and maids were all so friendly.

The restaurant was beachfront and the waiting staff were superb, without fail service was friendly and fast, far superior to other hotels in the area such as Crystal Cove and Almond Beach.

Staff were excellent in the restaurant and provided top quality service.

We had a 'standard' room, and in retrospect, we would have preferred a 'superior' pool-view or an ocean view room, as our was quite dark and next to the housekeeping room, with no real usable terrace or balcony.

We stayed in a ground floor Condo which was great because it was right near the beach and had its own small swimming pool with garden area.

To get to our condo, we had to walk behind the restaurant, past the service door, around an overgrown garden, through a parking lot, and up a flight of rickety wooden stairs.

We had a room at the back of the hotel, not the best, but spotless.

We had upgraded our rooms to Pool view rooms and they were spacious, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable.

The rooms were very spacious, clean and air conditioned.

The rooms are cool, theres loads of nice food close by-The Cliff and the pool is very clean.

Well worth the money, attentive staff and the rooms were always clean.
