Malmaison Birmingham - 伯明翰

The location was fantastic and the hotel was located at the best possible place in the city of Birmingham.

The location is excellent - very close to shops, the breakfast is also of a high quality and the staff are really friendly.

Fantasticly convenient location, the proximity to the railway station was very good and the car park was conveniently near.

The hotel is situated only a few minutes on foot from the train station, which we took to get to the NEC.

Very easy to access from the train station / airport.

Room was excellent, spacious, stylish and comfy with a massive bed, the bathroom was pristine with a great shower and they provide free cable TV.

The bed was absolute heaven and the bathroom was more than adequate with a decent bath and power shower.

Comfortable bed, super bathroom, a telly that works - just what more does one need from a one-night hotel room?

The room had a large bed, and the room size was bigger than many other hotel rooms for that price.

The room we were in was OK nothing much to remark about it, rather on the small side but clean, comfortable bed, reasonable sized bathroom and yes the infamous 'take-away' toiletries were present and correct.

The reason is a) the great bar b) the super Brasserie restaurant (yes, yes, not cheap but you get what you pay for) and c) the best English breakfast I have ever eaten in a hotel in the UK.

We absolutely loved breakfast and dinner at the restaurant - excellent services and tasty dishes.

18 is a rip off (car park not owned by malmason) Paid extra for breakfast and dinner, the evening meal was a joke, do not eat here, the food was over priced and of poor quality, and there are.

The bar is elegant and the breakfast is very nice.

The hotel rooms are good, and the location is very central but the bar and restaurant are awful.

The reception staff service was slow, unttentive and not customer friendly.

Checkout sluggish the Sunday morning snake within Uk hotels is not serviced well and its no different here 2 staff trying to service a queue backing up towards the entrance aint very good.

Polite service at the front desk and initial room smelled of smoke - immediately changed.

There is a spa but no pool but I did use the sauna and steam room which were fine.

The Spa consisted of a Jaccuzi , Sauna , and steam room which was good although I imagine could get a little cramped at busy times as it was not very big ,and a relaxation room with massage chairs!

Car parking is a rip off though - 24hr stay in the adjoining public car park will cost you £17!

Although the hotel itself was clean and tidy, very stylish and the rooms were well proportioned, the whole place seemed to be somewhat pretentous and all too willing to sit on its ego and not strive for that something extra!

The room was always kept tidy and clean by the staff.

Staff extremely professional, clean bath and has an amazing cocktail bar.

The hotel room was clean, spacious and relaxing.

The room (an ordinary double) was a good size and clean although starting to look very slightly worn - hence the renovations presumably.
